    They did go extinct. Some guy on an island found a mosquito in a piece of amber. He took some blood from inside that mosquito's stomach and then put the amber on a stick. Then he used that blood to clone a new troll. I can't blame him, a theme park full of trolls would be fun to see as long as their computers are UNIX because I know that!

    You are right. I posted before my morning coffee. I got connection timeouts from my brain as well. My nameserver is set to Google's though, with OpenDNS as a backup. I wouldn't put it past Comcast to mess with that too.

    Strange... from my work computer, I get a connection timeout. From my Comcast connection at home, I get

    a consumer doesn't (yet!) have to worry about the OS version.

    Last week I updated my wife's iPhone because she couldn't download quite a few apps. It kept telling her she had to update her OS to use the app.

    It is a pretty good idea. There is one thing missing though, and that is the the other VM with Windows. I am a college student about to graduate at the end of the year. I found that there is always one class each semester that requires something Microsoft. This semester, it is Project 2007. Other times, it is the stupid Blackboard-Wimba module, or some other thing that assumes only Windows users are taking the class. Of course, if the students want to play any video games, they would be better off dual-booting since they are "teh n00bs" for now.
