The Pandora console PCBs are made in USA, plastic cases are made in China and the units are assembled in UK. I really would like to see others having similar patterns.
If we found that viruses could evolve into say, GPL software or iPhone apps in order to propagate themselves, I might almost be tempted to believe in creation.
In my country, you have to get through all the formality of subscription even to get a prepaid SIM card. Leave a photocopy of your ID and sign a paper nobody reads and wait for 1-2 days to get the communication on-line. I don't know what a foreigner must go through just to have a prepaid account.
Actually Islamic dogma says God indeed saved Jesus by clouding their minds and making them see the traitor as Jesus and killing him instead. So He was not resurrected because didn't die in the first place.
I can say CHARLI has nice looks, compared to other teams I have seen so far. Its walking looks subpar but it will definitely improve until June. So far it is not groundbreaking or anything. For more impressive robots see Nimbro(Germany), Team Osaka(Japan) and Robo Erectus(Singapore). Our robot TUlip(Netherlands) was quiet crappy last year but we heavily modified it and expecting good publicity this year.
Depends on your servers. You are so correct on large networks. I hang out in the private server of local computer geek club, and freenode.net. So my IRC experience is mostly pleasant. compared to any other social tools.
River raid diverges from random generation in an interesting way, because it uses the same seed every time you play, every time it generates the same levels. But it was very ingenious of them to use the method for "compression". Actually, somebody must have hacked the game to use different seeds to try different levels.
I literally LOLed at the long "I learnt something today" beep, and thought it was a great joke. If this was work CC, this means CC itself is a big joke.
My Internet connection at the campus dormitory was suddenly cut with no apparent reason. I checked that my cable was OK, asked if any other students have problems. IT people didn't reply my e-mails so I went there in person. It seems that I had some malware on my computer, automatically attacking others in the network, and IT cut off my access for two weeks as a punishment for my offence, without telling me anything. I told them I was immediately going to clean my system, but I had to go through some idiotic bureaucracy to get connection before my punishment is complete. I had less than two weeks to finish my BSc thesis.

I don't mind fighting my way through monsters to reach to some special guy or very powerful magical artifact©(which,for some reason, we are not able to use) but it is a great turnoff to just kill X of these and gather Y of those.
Except that the system doesn't work on fat, but only on sugar. So big mac is a fail in this case.
