    I don't know how many people download pirate programs or pr0n, but I think it's more than 11.5M and they download a lot more than 474M each.

    Well, from the summary I infer that it wasn't fully:

    The difference between this and say, Red Faction or Bad Company, is that the destruction isn't limited to pre-set building sections.

    But Wikipedia says different:

    GeoMod allows the player to alter (and destroy) the environment so significantly because of the way it designates altered (or "GeoModded") areas. Whereas other game engines would have to modify the shape of the altered object to create a similar effect, GeoMod creates special objects which represent empty space.

    Even though many posters here on Slashdot like to pretend they are hardcore users, GUI's can help. It might make it easier to write configuration applications that most new users can use, for example.

    People stop acting like elitists. I want Linux to be more popular so more games will be made for Linux.

    It's one thing if the popular PC manufacturer sells its computer without Windows, it's another if it says you can't even install Windows in it.

    Worse, you can compare. Maybe in the future, instead of downloading a game, you will only download the image, and send you keystrokes to a server. I'm sure I saw this idea somewhere. It means you will be able to play better games on worse computer, true, but I'd rather play on my computer with no need for net.

    it says that cars don't take damage from colliding with walls. That means you can't run a car against a wall to smash it. But it is so fun!

    Also, those cars have very strong fronts, because they don't take damage from there too.

    Ohh, lines...

    It's interesting to notice from those graphs that apparently the main languages are Perl, Ruby, PHP and Python.

    The graphs by region are interesting for showing the distribuition of those languages either as a local effect or something bigger.

    Quite interesting I might say.
