    I make music on the Amiga today. Not necessarily mod tunes, but I integrated it in my home studio and use it for midi sequencing, drums, triggering synths, controlled glitching, etc.

    WinUAE to be exact, because it allows the flexibility of saving snapshots, midi ports and whatnot :)

    Theres' software and techniques to produce music with the Amigas that is simply not doable anywhere else.

    This reminds me of a big scandal in Romania involving a firm called Hexi Pharma who was the major distributor of dissinfectants to all .ro hospitals.

    They were found to dillute the cleaning substances so they sell more to the hospitals in the last 10 years or so.

    This of course coincides in time with the situation described in TFA. ...

  5. No man, you got it wrong. Let me rephrase. You never heard of the electric universe which is and IDEA. The fact that Velikovski or some other blacklisted person attatched to the idea of an electric unuiverse should not discourage you from digging to see what the fuss is all about and decide for yourself. Lots of people talked about it. Some of them you may find on your "whitelist". You will learn stuff anyway along the way even if in the end you decide that you don't like the general theory. and WTF is going on with the downmodding ?! Some slashdotters are acting like some idiot school kid police force. Respekt our autoritah you quakers! I bet half the people invoking wrong math on the part of El U are failures at math...

    i wonder if it has some acpi fan control for my lenovo s10
    i am forced to use windows xp especially late at night in bed as some user has written a hack for windows that corrects the acpi temperature values so my lil' laptop wont sound like a boeing...
    i tried several linux hacks including but not limited to lmsensors and thinkfan but they don't work for me :(

    he did not die defending anyones freedom.
    i really see many of you swallowed the pill and speak the language of the television.
    he died while being part of an INVADING/ATTACKING FORCE, outside your borders, while taking part in operations that involve many many things but NOT protecting YOUR freedom.

    EVEN in the eventuality that you may consider that america invading countries to steal they shit is beneficial to the US economy or whatever,that STILL does not do anything to protect your freedom.

    their daily profits are going to plummet from several hundred million dollars to several hundred million dollars minus one...=/

    get a grip man with this old argument, as it may be true for a small pizzeria but really for a big corp. i think no amount of bad publicity can seriously affect profits.
    you are not goint to see mass terminations because they are bound by contracts, you will not see decreased calling volumes and the subscription rate will probably only decrease with a a couple or percents in certain cities.

    i don't see how this nullifies the claim of skid row.
    anyone trying to hack ac2 would have gotten to the values.
    both the russian and skidrow used the values but they had different approaches.

    i know everybody likes to think that this is like the near future.
    but i doubt it. i think the input lag games are going to suffer from will be quite big and that will make this kind of platforms only usable for lego games or something. maybe wow...
