Since we are all born atheists, then choose our religions, it does seem a bit odd, but it is true about I.Q.
Also how many years of positive karma on this site, 2 posts and it goes to bad? This site is fucking done anyway, I am going to have a fun time trolling here. It is easy now, seems all the smart people have left.
The average intelligence of theists is a lot lower than atheists, I don't think they would even believe science if it was true. Intelligence is the only thing separating theists and atheists, other than that, we are all basically the same.
So why are people of the world still dying of starvation? Maybe instead of throwing money at the problem we can research what works. That was my point, STOP spending on things like space until the problem is fixed, if the trillions aren't enough, we aren't doing good enough or care enough. It isn't about the money, it's about actually fixing the problems we have before we move forward elsewhere.
Flaimbait for wanting people to be fed watered and shltered? I expected more from/. but then again, why would I expect more from a bunch of desk jockeys?
...but people are still dying of starvation and lack of water on THIS planet. =\
I know space exploration is very important, but shit, let's get real here. I feel guilty driving a newer model Honda Civic knowing that if I bought something cheaper I could maybe feed someone less fortunate.
To religious theists, do you remember when you choose to be religious? If so, at what age did you decide to become a religious person who believes in a god?
One thing that bothers me is, whenever people say, "oh, you are an atheist, so you don't believe there is anything after death?" That has NOTHING to do with being an atheist, all atheism is, is not thinking there is a great creator, you can be atheist and fully believe in an afterlife, ghosts or even praying.
Nothing is reasonable about scanning every single license plate you see. If the camera could scan the color/make/year etc of the vehicle, the compare that against known stolen vehicles or vehicles used in other crimes FIRST, then I could see them scanning the plate and doing further investigation, but just blindly scanning plates and recording their location is very disturbing.
Doesn't matter if you are on the "up and up". Things can be taken out of context. Might as well not give them ANY ammo to use. They say to always exercise your right to be silent. This is a preemptive way to do that.
I think you would be stupid not to try and keep your personal information away from strangers. Also make sure to kill your RFID chips in your credit cards. But for the rest of you, ignorance is bliss. Enjoy.
Iunno, I found it ironic that when Flash first came out, it was a way to create and inbed animation and sound into a website with very little weight. I actually used to make Flash sites actually smaller than HTML ones with raster graphics.
Then everyone decided to make Flash sites really heavy. Instead of going the route I thought it would go. The computers and the internet back then were too slow to handle those sites.
Now that we have the bandwidth and computing power, everyone seems to be bashing on Flash. When it is the best developer tool for vector based animation around. It's all backwardsy to me. I didn't expect it to be such a big deal that Adobe bought Macromedia.
I had a long conversation with my brother about perceived value and video games compared with the value of a blockbuster movie. I am still concerned why games are still $60 where most Bluray movies are around half the price. Big blockbuster movies HAVE to cost more than the biggest game.
How are game publishers getting away with the $60 price tag?
Can an artist make a "Cover Song" of his/her song out of contract of a big record label, I wonder why artists haven't thought of this. Or do record companies own everything an artist does while in contract?

I have been discriminated against a few times because I choose to be childless.
Reasonable suspicion or probable cause first?

Most people won't use their devices if there is no connectivity. Just start building theaters with built-in Faraday Cage technology.

If that iPhone was downloading illegal music/movies I bet they would find it in no time.
