Option b could be the only possible money maker for them. Any unique content found on Napster will cease being unique to Napster moments after it's published. C. is right out, since it's difficult to shut down everyone's computer... I can't think of any kind of value-added service that they could apply to their content to make me want to pay, aside from better indexing, organization, and cross referencing (a la audio galaxy).

    They're screwed.

I certainly hope not... My guess is that upon generating a key, a seperate key is also generated. This key (the other half of which the NSA has) could be used to encrypt the original sender's private key. This would allow the NSA (I don't know which tla will hold the keys, just substitute your favorite one in here...) to be able to retrieve the private key and decrypt the transmission... This is pure speculation...

Just curious about the reasons for Java on the ps2, and the potential it holds...

Most officials were quick to say the war would like unlike any other, and that drafting vast numbers of people wouldn't be necessary. This war would be fluid, varied, combining weaponry with diplomacy and economic pressure.

Somehow I don't think diplomacy and economic pressure will matter to these people. Our enemy, in this case, cannot be localized to a single country. Cell infiltration and intelligence gathering will be our bread and butter. Diplomacy, in the sense that we lean on countries that support these cells, won't be effective unless we have the intelligence to discern whether or not they are indeed supporting these cells. Even without a country to back them financially, I don't think they will stop. Their fanatacism, and willingness to trade their lives for their cause, makes them immune to any suffering we could impose on them short of extermination. (Take that how you will...) We won't stop until they're no longer a threat, and we can expect the same from them.

This means that, by and large, they're more willing to help.
