I thought cool there going to build a train ring around the station to provide artifical gravity but no, its so the arm can move around to help build the station. Maybe to much Red Mars for me:)

I saw a post on the linux kernel news groups (you can serch for it) about 2-3 weeks ago where Linus says something like "that's why I don't consider you a kernel developer" he always seems to be wining about something. But hey what do I know I'm still trying to get xscreensver to do a mozilla -remote openurl (some url) for a kiosk:)
For remote mail POP is stuffed IMAP is a little better but still I think there could be something even better IMAPvx ?
Many times I have received mail at work with big attachments and then have got home to read another mail that would like me to forward that mail
I use IMAP but if I forward that mail it is sucked down my slow link and then resent down my slow link
I think that we need protocol that can send mail from the server IMAPvx
Lotus notes and express can do this but it would be much better to have an open standard to do it
IMAP is a much better protocol
but still has limits as has POP in that when you are on the end of a slow connecton and forward mail it is sucked down the line and then sent back down the line
what we need is IMAP ver 5 where if you mark a file to be forwarded it is forwarded from the server
IBM said that they were going to spend $1 billion dollars to support linux and OSS, well I think that they should put some of that cash to protect against such stupid laws. I'm sure that even a govenment as uninformed as the US will listen when IBM puts its case.
sorry about the spelling I'm australian and its very late.. nother VB please:)
I used to read the archives at http://boudicca.tux.org/hypermail/linux-kernel/thi s-week/ but I have not been able to get to the site for a while anyone know of another archive?
ACL's are in XFS . its super simple to build a new system with redhat 7.1 and XFS
just look here you can get a bootable ISO that will insstall the XFS kernal and then ask you for your redhat-7.1 cd's to install the rest, as I said this if for a new system. but go for it
Emacs can do everything so why not CVS.
RMS is a good programmer so if he doesn't like bitkeeper maybe he should write something better.
But to run Galeon you have to have mozilla installed
so thats more disc space uesd
Is that site for real or what ?

according to this page TCP/MS might be the new protocol
It was the sheer stupidity of the worm's creator and the skill of some network admins which limited the worms attack and DoS potential.
There was a couple of versions of it and another will surly arise.

python runs on more and seems more consistant
wxpython and boa are pretty good
OS X has most of this stuff bundled as well
No one seems to be complaining about it
