Crossing wires in a PS2 cable will no more fool this than shorting wires on your serial port will make the computer see a modem reply to an AT command.
Now hopefully Cisco has the common sense not to sue him for his efforts.
I read an article about this a few weeks ago when it was still news, and basically cisco could care less if he makes his own supplemental material as long as he teachs the whole course as laid out by the cisco requirements.
First off, if you aren't already compressing that data, start. You may be able to cut the size down dramatically using compression.
Then backup using tapes just like every other place that has to do backups. Generally do full backups once a week and incremental ones nightly or whatever is necessary based on the data you are working with.
Especially considering that my last computer was built and shipped to me from one of the countries that they want to ban the export of computers to (China). Don't they realize that computers come from there and arrive here, not the other way around??
It would appear that this judgement is somewhat reasonable considering that NAC (the ISP) dicked the customer around, although if I were they judge I would have just made NAC continue to provide service to the customer for a while longer instead of messing with re-assigning ip addresses between isp's.
If you didnt read the article, it was a suit brought about by a bookseller against a reviewer who was selling unread review copies of books on ebay for under the new selling price.
That would fit the definition of used to most people.. It was sent via mail to someone who took it out of the package and let it sit around their house.. Whether or not you actually read a book doesn't matter. I've sold tons of used college books where the only thing used about them is that they sat around for a semester.
I had this problem previously on Windows when trying to install a more recent version. The solution was to reinstall the old version, uninstall any old themes, reinstall the newer version, and it worked. If you have an older version installed with older themes you might give this a try.
When you install it they specifically tell you not to install it over any older version, if people would just read the text in front of their faces, they wouldn't have such problems.
Since themes and extension formats are still changing, it's obvious that installing over existing installs is going to cause problems. When it hits 1.0, I'll expect it to seamlessly upgrade, but until then things are going to be changing between builts.
I've read that before, it just goes to show how fucked up copy and paste on linux is. Having 4 different and separate copy and paste mechanisms is retarded.
not to mention the fact that even most of the closed source stuff is viewable through cvs, they just ask that you look at it and learn from it instead of just outright copying it.
sell them on craigslist if there is one for your area.

Then why does it work?
When is wikipedia going to get google ads or some other form of text ads?
except if your house blocks the highway, they pay you fair market value for it.. its the same thing here.
No. Have you read their helpful faq sheet (linked several places above)? You can install it on any private space like your patio if you want.
unless the tree is right next to where you want to put the dish it shouldn't be a problem since the dish will be angled upwards.
Correct, the phrases are jerry-built and jury-rigged.

http://www.e-gerbil.net/ras/nac-case actually read the documents filed in the case.

Among other things it has active hyperlinks, auto indenting and can do a lot of simple reformatting (like caps to lowercase, etc.).
If's that's the case, then it can't seamlessly replace notepad, notepad doesn't include those features for a reason.

Do you think the guys at Valve were stupid?
Well since you asked. Yes.
That is a good way to upgrade a lego robot for offroad capabilities.
how long it will take them to "remember" to release the source to the modified gpl programs that they will be using.
Mine cost less than $2,000, and I can play UT2k4 and others on it just fine."
My computer cost less than $500 and I can play everything just fine, my xbox cost about $150 and I can play everything on that just fine too.

Copy and paste not working consistantly/as expected is one of the issues that will keep linux from being widely accepted.
Until data can be copied and pasted between all applications in a consistant manner, linux will not be ready for the desktop. period.
Also, do they have the location-finding features for 911 cell calls implemented yet?
Yes.
Your name isn't Charles is it?
have you tried putting quotes around what you are searching for?
Are you implying that google doesn't allow you to search for "exact phrases"?
