    Try uninstalling 1.0 and then doing a clean install of 1.0.1, that worked for me.
    (Uninstalling firefox keeps your profile so all your extensions/etc are still there, except where you installed plugins into the program directory)

    Is anyone else getting the type a URL into the URL bar crash?
    It doesn't matter what URL I try to enter, with tabs or without, *boom* it crashes.

    As per the post above (the one about god being your concious), I'm not going to hell because I don't believe god (If there is one) wants me to someone who I am not.

    But "you" say I am because you think being gay is wrong and i'm unrepentant about being who I really am.

    These beliefs cancel out, so it doesn't really matter, except maybe to you personally.

    Romans 1 doesn't specifically mention homosexuals, and indeed you could argue that gays just are that way from the start, so they can't "give in to the sinful desires of their hearts".

    Unfortuantly this doesn't survive a browser restart, and even worse, it's still shown as false, but it's auctally true! (That is, the spoofing works)

    Rubber in New Zealand (Which shares more britishisms than americanisms) is what the americans call an "eraser".

    People in the US freak out when I ask for a rubber while i'm drawing or something.

    Mythbusters busted this myth.
    The only way to superheat water is to use PURE (distilled) water.
    Water out of the tap is not pure, and won't become superheated and explode.

    Of course, when it's out of beta, you can bet they'll charge an initial buying fee AND a yearly subscription.

    Consider for a moment if you will, that MS will be SELLING an application to cleanup crap that has been installed because of the bugs in their own operating system.

    If both projects are GPLed, there absolutely nothing unethical about taking code from the other project (and vice versa)

    I'd tell the guy "WTF" and point out that the code is GPLed and you can use as much of it as you want.

    http://ubcd.sourceforge.net/ (ultimate boot cd, which includes linux and various diagnostic/recovery tools) does this.
    It gives you a menu when you boot with all the stuff it has. See the screenshots on the site.

    Eh, counterstrike (old counterstrike) alone has 2x as many player minutes in the last MONTH than Halo 2 has had since it came out.

    Auctally, since Valve did a good job with the Source engine, it has DirectX 7/8/8.1/9 codepaths, so you can even play the game with acceptable framerates on a geforce4mx card.
    It runs pretty decently on a 1.3ghz athlon with a geforce4mx 420, WAY better than doom3 did. (Slideshow city!)

    If it's hydrogen powered, why can't they produce the hydrogen the normal way, instead of using sodium borohydride?

    Try setting it to not use the pdf plugin. In tools/options/downloads/plugins and untick the PDF option.
    It should then prompt you to either download or open in acrobat as a seperate application instead of using the plugin for the tab.
