    Why isn't there a working bootable vmware image all setup so you can just boot OS X in vmware without having to screw around, posted somewhere? (Ie, on the illegal torrent sites)

    Man, how can you have a PhD in CS or be an executive of a computer company and not know how to fix your computer? See the (duped!) link to the NYTimes on people throwing out their computers when they're infected with spyware instead of cleaning them.

    How about those who dress like they don't care, but only because they don't care. ;)

    I wear t-shirt and shorts (khaki, depending on how many pockets/what I need to lug around) most of the time, otherwise it's just normal non-dress-up trousers/etc.

    It's a typical geek thing, clothes are there to keep you warm/cool, not to make you look cool/professional. ;)

    Requires azureus 2.3.x at least and that you be "connected" to the DHT. Sadly I don't think it'll work with the official "decentralised" bittorrent client, as the protocols are different.
    Someone should really fix that.

    From my experience as a New Zealander (NZ being more socialist than the US) this is not true.
    More states seem to be butting into peoples lives than NZ ever has.

    The public healthcare system in NZ has some of the problems that most public systems have, but at least going to the doctor only costs you ~$10US and you don't have to worry about deciding to goto the doctors or not being able to pay the rent like in the US.

    As a gay person, I'd consider (well, not really, but in this context I would) it acceptable to be prejudiced against christians, since they're the ones who sprout who all this bullshit about how I'm an evil person, a sinner, going to ruin america with gay marriage/etc.

    So hopefully you can see where I (and other people) come from.

    It's bullshit like the "controversial" science films that fuels the flames.

    Uhm, it does, at least with the WIMP theme on XP.
    There's no black X-style cursor at all, and all the menus/widgets are themed to the XP theme.

    Comcast (at least in the northwest) blocks ports 135-139 and 445 at the modem so blaster/etc don't get out. This also stops your neighbours being able to see/hack your network shares.
