Next time you release an internet playable RPG let me know.

Look i've had enough of this wave (bad pun sorry..) that the media has created targeting the young, depressed outcast. Has anyone ever thought to just leave us alone?!?!? While i was in high school i was one of those kids who was an outcast. i wore (and i still wear) all black and sat in front of a computer for at least 6 hours a day. i was constantly depressed (and as it turns out i'm bipolar) and alot of the time suicidal. The only things that have changed are my age, education and i sit in front of a computer for 12+ hours a day.
I carry my gerber tool and gerber ez-open knife. does this make me dangerous? All these kids want is to be left alone so they can code or game or do whatever it is that lets them escape from the shithole they probably deal with everyday. the absolute worst thing you could do to them is to herd them in and force more public harasment onto them, let along reward the punk-ass jocks who will cash in on these kids being different.

Ever since columbine i have tried to keep a level head about this entire situation. But now i've had it. Just try and turn me in... i dare you.

I have yet to run into a dvd with ads for burger king or anything yet so i wouldn't worry aobut it too much. Hell i've yet to see previews for OTHER movies on a dvd yet.

this could all change of corse.

    Now for the serious question!

now that BSDi and Walnut Creek are merging and Slackware is spinning off into it's own company, will Slackware continue to be the company where you can meet it's president/head/whatever at expos and such?

imho, that seriously gave slackware a huge edge over the "commercial" linux distro and the militant (did i say that?) debian folks.

also: any job openings? ;) i had also spoken with you about a sparc port of slackware, and you had told me you couldn't because you needed an sbus frame buffer. please let me know if you still need this!

I was verbally and physically harrased DAILY because i am different. I dress in mostly black and listen to different music and love computers. No one ever understood this untill after i graduated high school. College is very different but i still feel quite alone (with the exception of one or two other people). mass media sucks and i think it will always suck.

Just keep this in mind... while all the jocks and so called "in" kids are working thier ditch digging blue collar jobs... we'll be kicking back programing or admining and having FUN while getting paid for it.
