It's interesting how, the same way we are going back to the old concept of mainframe with the cloud thing, we're also making our "mobile" phones wired again.
As far as I know, people either got a very good phone (in terms of quality) or a very bad one. I'm in the former group. The only downside is that it is too bulky, but I can cope with that.
Recently I bought a Nokia N9. It's not as cool as my good old N900 (which is still my primary cellphone), but MeeGo really looked promising. Why did they ditch it in such a bad manner is something that still puzzles me.
The last two major releases (7 and 8) have been awful. I think the only reason why Java still gets so much attention is because there's a lot of time and money already invested on Java applications. As a Java developer and FOSS advocate myself, I have to confess that I'm closely following the results of Microsoft flirting with the open source community. I never thought I would say such thing, though.
Can you run multiple instances of the application? In that case, this (or a similar application) could be helpful. The idea is to make every instance to use a particular interface. I also thought that maybe, if the application can be run using wine, you could lunch multiple instances on a Linux box, each one using a different network configuration, but seems that it's not possible.
Last night, some football fans in Argentina managed to smuggle a whole drone into a stadium and flew it over the field (see picture 3/11) just before to start an epic disturb.
Well, you should stop hating, it's no good for your heart. I don't buy Sony hardware anymore (except for gaming stuff ) because the quality of their products has decreased dramatically these last years. But I have to admit that the PS (portable and "desktop") is a neat piece of hardware, despite of their stupid content delivery policies and stuff like making proprietary memory cards for the PS Vita. PS is a classical example of good engineering and broken management.
A friend of mine told me recently that he got one by putting his laptop on hibernation while the peripherals were still connected. He disconnected them while in hibernation, and then woke the system up again.
I hope Turkish FB and YT users use this time to read a book.

There's another (minor) reason to prefix variables with $: That way you can use "reserved" words as variable or field names, say $class, $abstract, etc.

Yeah, just remove the red jumper.
I'd pay to see her killing all the demons in a Linux machine.
And for only 50 bucks I'll exorcize Windows from your computer.

That sounds like a perfect "edge case". It's incredible, though, the amount of people that heavily rely on auto-saved stuff.

And it totally redefines the concept of "cloud services".
How can a deer be part of a wolves clan? Shouldn't it be a Baratheon?
Sourceforge already has one, FYI.
The bug or the feature?
So... blame it on the Martians for holding it wrong?

Well, apparently that's harder than it seems.
Then they shouldn't call them watches.
For some reason I read "IPv6-resistant".
I found specially funny the possibility of facing EMZ (Evil Magic Zombies)
I'm totally for Overcharging Olinguito, it'd be onerously cute.

In your next joke, please consider using better quality products. ;)
