Sun has done more to alienate it's customer base than any other company out there, except SCO. They wouldn't know a customer if it piddled on their trouser leg.

Now, in some places that might be fine, but in this economy and with the importance IT staff have now, that's unacceptable. My wife is a teacher and routinely refuses to use the Windows XP boxes in her classroom for anything other than what is required for the students use. In fact, she's pushing to get Linux in the classrooms since they are less susceptible to viruses and spyware and can be monitored and maintained with much less pain.
