Actually, reading through a ziplock bag with an e-ink display (I have a kindle) isn't too bad, provided it is a fresh bag (IE. not scratched up or anything). I would imagine there would be weird glare and stuff from the bag with a backlit display.
Putting a touch pad on the back is actually rather clever. The back is almost never used for anything but battery compartments and whatnot. Of course, having input devices on the back means that when you put it down, it'll either be screen down, or touchpad down. That touchpad had better be ready to last through explosions, otherwise they are probably going to start being broken quickly.
I would personally pay full price if they never released this game, but kept putting out trailers every few years, and saying it was almost done, just switching to the latest engine, etc...
Ehhh.. Nintendo has had funny screws on their systems for a while. I think everything past the NES and the GB have had funny screws (IE. Triwing screws, or ones requiring security bits). Luckily, screwdrivers or bits for swappable screwdrivers are very cheap (less than $3), and as others have noted above, so are these ones. Whatever. It prevents the morons who just open things because they can from opening them. It's not hard or expensive to get in to the device, you just have to actually WANT to get in, by paying a few bucks.
How many times are we going to see the "Camera put in styrofoam box and floated up with a weather balloon" story. Is this one special because they threw an iPhone into the box too?
I've only known of a very few people who upgraded to Win7 because they "wanted" it. They wanted it because it was the new Microsoft toy, and they wanted the latest greatest. The majority of people I know with Win7 use it because it came on their new PC, that they usually bought because the old one died. Some of them have had me downgrade them to WinXP.
In my case, and the case of every engineer-in-progress at my university, we get somewhere between 2-8 licenses for Windows 7 Pro, depending on the number of classes in different Engineering departments. You see, each department has an MSDNAA set-up. What this means, is that anyone who 'wants' Windows 7, has no problem getting access to a key for it. Almost every Windows-running laptop has 7 on it. This ability to be able to GET Win 7 has caused a large population to upgrade, just because they 'wanted' it.
It's country land, and it's a huge lot. I didn't know it existed until he told me. It's quite a ways back from the road, behind a lot of trees. Not visible from their house at all. Besides, if you are already pumping poo for a business, how bad can a pond of it really be?
Up near my cottage, the local septic tank sucker has a septic pond where he dumps the sucker trucks, mushes it around and whatnot, getting the not-good-stuff out, then pumps it out into a sprayer truck. He sprays local farm fields. I'm sure it doubles his money. People pay him to take their poo away, then he gets payed to spray it all over someone elses field.
I believe the idea is that you have one charger plate that you would always leave plugged in, and it works for all of your devices that have a power receiver plugged in (Or built in, I suppose). You wouldn't have to "hunt around for the induction charger plate", since you would have one between all of your devices. It would be like a bowl for your keys at the door - When you come in, you can just chuck your stuff onto the charger plate, and hey presto, it's charged next time you grab it. No fiddly wires to plug or unplug when you come in.
People actually hit the 'send' button? I always hit 'don't send', even if it is a Microsoft product. The "solutions" they give are almost always generic enough to be completely useless. It's not worth the time to look at them.
Uhh.... The sand people were in Episode 1, during the pod race. Although it is boring enough that you could have just skipped past it. So, they were only ignored in episodes 5,6,2,3...
Yeah, I don't think I've ever seen any store in Ottawa NOT let you pick your scratch ticket.

it definitely should be tested.
People also pay Quark for drinks and food; if there is no scarcity, why pay him for drinks?
Because he is a Ferengi?

The "something seriously worthwhile" is the glasses-less 3d.
And what exactly is wrong with Salem's Lot?
The tutorial may be nice, but I'll be dead by the time it's over!
The jacket did not belong to the kid, it belonged to the father. That was in TFA though, so I don't hold it against you!
Whoosh!
What? 9000! That's Impossible!!!
Sure, it might be a fun and cool thing to do as an 8 year old (Or any age, really), but it isn't like we need to see it once a month on Slashdot.

Same. I think in the end though, I bought around 25 of them. Reselling the set parted out (wiimote, and game individually) netted a nice profit...

Generally correct, yes. My opinion was based on these PowerMat products that I see often enough in weekly flyers

Nope, but now I can go and turn off error reporting! Hadn't realized it was just a service...

Is it a bad sign that I read that just as easily as English?
