Bah, I dont understand how the American legal system can enforce a license agreement which restricts one of the most important (IMHO) amendments of our constitution. Its really sad that just because someone has more money then another person they can restrict there freedoms.
Congress, aka government. Microsoft may not want you to make anti-company comments using their software, but they cant legally enforce it. at least that's my interpretation of the law (please correct me if im wrong), other wise what the hell do we have a constitution for?
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."
that clause is going to be very hard to enforce legally.
I just samspaded one of the IP's thats been hitting our site. it places a bit of javascript code at the bottom of the page that basically forces IE to download readme.exe. DO NOT TRY TO GO TO AN INFECTED IP ADDRESS.
I bought a BEFW11S4 - EtherFast Wireless AP + Cable/DSL Router w/ 4-Port Switch about a month ago on eBay - brand new. I have had nothing but problems thus far, and wouldn't recommend anyone buying one. I have to push the reset button on a regular a regular basis, as my connection drops frequently. Firmware upgrades dont work, after many emails and phone calls I have determined that Linksys tech support is virtually non existent, and I had to resort back to using connection sharing on my 2000 box to get a half stable connection.
This just makes me sick, we spend countless dollars fighting a lost war, and we let fucken terrorists into our own country, killing thousands of innocent people. keep all our special forces in columbia, it seems to be keeping our children safe.

Think of the impact this will have on the blow-up-dolls-for-geeks market. Now you can program your night time friend to do what you like it to do. I wonder if think geek will have these soon?
They should run the thing with XP and use.11 to transmit the information back. Think of the fun you could have screwing with the raw sockets being transmitted from that asshole who cut you off a mile back..
Exactly, you cant expect me to pay taxes for something that isnt taxable.
The article claims that 70% of online music users burned music the downloaded from online sources to CDR. They make no mention what so ever as to how much of that 70% is legit. By legit i mean music such as concert recordings and music the person already owns, which last time i checked were not taxable.

looking at our webservers log files we have 1000's of ips addresses to infected machines with the root.exe back door. im not going to post any code but it would be trivial to loop through the log file, grab the infected ip addresses, and send out a bunch of:80 requests:/scripts/root.exe?/c%20format%20c:
When i was 15 most of my friends where nothing but warez pups. There was always that one kid who didnt talk much, everyone thought he was going to be the next uni bomber, but really he just spent way to much time kernal hacking.
All they need to do is add a joy stick. Imagine the fun you could have when your system admin pisses you off. Slip a couple of these into his morning brew.. unreal suddenly seems boring

If a document is top secret, it shouldnt be stored on a networked computer. If it is stored on a networked computer, then it should be encrypted. problem solved.
encrypting important documents should be as important as backing them up.
I can see internet3 coming down the pipeline. Businesses can pay the way towards developing a 3rd network suited towards there needs. internet stays the way it is, open. internet2 grows to help facilitate the worlds educational needs.
