Saying screw the 1% because they don't even matter makes sense because they don't matter. And they're a bunch of whiny bitches anyways.

RTFA. The Judge said the EULA states that you own your PS3, which is a given. You do not own PSN, that is a License. Sony did not remove OtherOS. They said if you install the newest firmware, it removes OtherOS. See the difference? Sony cannot just shut off your PS3. But they can deny access to PSN and new games. I know its all hip and trendy to hate on Sony, but they removed a feature less than 1% of "gaming" PS3s used. Its not a huge deal other than for nerds to get their panties in a twist over.

And honorary degrees are still academic degrees. Just with the standard requirements removed. From Wikipedia: "An honorary degree[1] or a degree honoris causa (Latin: "for the sake of the honour") is an academic degree for which a university (or other degree-awarding institution) has waived the usual requirements, such as matriculation, residence, study, and the passing of examinations. The degree is typically a doctorate or, less commonly, a master's degree, and may be awarded to someone who has no prior connection with the academic institution. Usually the degree is conferred as a way of honoring a distinguished visitor's contributions to a specific field, or to society in general. The university often derives benefits by association with the person in question."

What makes you think it'll bomb? The PSP was a resounding success for a non-Nintendo handheld. The Vita scared Big N enough that they price dropped the 3DS only a couple months after release, which is unheard of. I expect the Vita will do moderately well, and those of us who aren't violently anti-capitalist will enjoy our portables, while Slashdoteers continue their hatred of any company who DARES make money.

Such an illness, if uncurable, which autistic psychopathy is, renders that not a person, but an animal. No better than a dog. Why are they not kept in a cage? You can try to excuse it's actions by LOLASSBURGERS but the fact of the matter is that it should never have been allowed to live long enough to understand what a computer is, much less allowed to touch a computer.

  8. Re:Good luck keeping it on on Tracking Bracelets for Autistic Kids and Senior Citizens · · Score: 0

Depends on the type and level of autism. Where they are in the spectrum matters a lot. There are many autistic kids who could do this without a problem. The risk is that they don't pick up on certain 'signal's and are easy targets for abduction because they don't realize they are in danger. And before someone replies about parenting and training, don't.

My daughter is autistic, Aspergers*, and she wears a watch without any problems.

*anyone know of any good books about girls and Aspergers? By an author who isn't a anti-vaccers, it';s all in the poo, 'god can fix it', nut job?

Sure. A good book about girls and assburgers is a nice thick dictionary to hit yourself in the face with. The proper term is Autistic Psychopathy. There is no fix for it. You can give up any semblance of a life to raise the equivalent of a 5.5 foot dog, or you can do the humane thing and not.

No you're not an "aspie" if you're going to call yourself anything its an Autistic Psychopath. Yes thats its proper name. And being an antisocial narcissist who can pay attention to detail doesn't make you special. And its completely "fixable." giving it a special label and saying LOL MENTAL DEFECT IT MAKES ME SPECIAL just pisses off the people who work with people who have real autism and see you cocks diluting the term and drawing negative attention with your narcissism.
