    I still have my Ti-99/4A, with 16k ram and expansion case with modem card (couldn't afford hard drive). Fired it up about 5 years ago; still works ok and the game and program cartridges still work.

    I also have a Quadra 650 (33MHz, 132 MB RAM, 1MB VRAM on Nubus card). Used it a few years ago, with a tabloid SCSI scanner I picked up. Photoshop 2.5 is fast on the beast!

    The Charlie's Angels movie, with Drew Barrymore, concerned them tracking down a bad guy who had software that could identify anyone from their voice over the phone. Was a pretty schlocky movie but I have a thing for Drew Barrymore so I've seen it a few times.

    You mean, Apple might just develop alternative technology in the background, but not use it, for years and years, until they get fed up with their current tech and make a quick, business pleasing jump, thanks to their foresight and planning?

    Wikipedia looks good here. Tried it with Google Apps. Got warning about not being Firefox but it then brought up my spread sheets and docs. In GMail, still doesn't show the Chat options. Sigh. Really wish Apple would get this browser working with more sites. Will try it with my bank (Firefox and IE only) site tonight.
