Basic connectivity to such services can be blocked and policy of no use can be published but ultimately, there's no real way to keep a trusted employee from walking out the door with a butt-load of data.
Your company has decided that you, as an individual, are trusted with their data (not sure I would but I don't perform security background checks). So yeah, you could easily walk out with gigs of data. But they trust you. Now, if the data is place up on someone else's servers, the company has no way of knowing who has access to that data.
Or Nerf weapons with rules of engagement where if you're hit, you have to leave the battlefield and can't respawn for another year. Chipping would allow you to keep track of who's allowed to play Get Your Filthy Hands Off My Desert! and who has to sit at home as a productive cit.
(man, there has to be a way to upload the the Hipcrime Vocab to an iPad dictionary.)
With 3d printing evolving, Lego sees the writing on the wall and are going for the profits while they can. Soon, it'll be a world of.99 - $9.99 Lego downloads, with Apple taking 30%.
Exactly! I see a nice car I'd like to drive, as a civilized human being, I'm expected to not touch it as it is not mine. I mean, who hasn't gone into a bank and wondered how they'd rob it? It's just a game you play but, being civilized, that's where it ends. Looks like Mr VP may have some boundary issues.
I think the tie in for/. is SAP VP. Folks that you contract to to run your business from a technical stand point, who aren't above scamming Legos from Target to make a few bucks; you should trust them!
Once my grocery store had some single malt scotch on sale for $15.40 a bottle (big display in center of liqueur section). They already had another single malt for sale for under $20 so I thought this was a similar cheap one. Got home, took a sip and had to look it up. Yeah, turns out Highland Park 12 year old is not a $15 a bottle scotch. Went back the next day but by then they had the correct price of $54.00 a bottle up. Still, got turned on to a nice scotch.
I've used the Mach 3 as well, for at least ten years but man, the blade price really started getting to me. Was also getting shaving bumps on my neck. Read something about getting away from modern shaving gels which can dry out skin and the multiple blade thing scraping up skin so decided to try the old DE. After 4 months, I'm hooked. Am only on my second blade ($6.00 / 10 German blades) too.
Where is this criticism for Woz? I haven't been on slashdot as long as some but haven't really run across anyone dissing him. If anything, people still hold him up for his cool tech tricks he used in Apple/AppleII.

Naw, just stupid iPad typing.
In 5 years or 10' it's coming.

He should try the Bobble-head smuggling scam next.
I thought the eleventh was Mind Thy Own Business.
Darn that Herschel!

Here's my pics of the eclipse, as the sun set past the Sandia Mountains.
First lesson about anatomy; there are no normal bodies. We are all individuals.

Or we all switch back to double edge safety razors.
Yeah!
You, we go out on the town and swing, baby? Yeah!
Yes Boo, I agree. This group could do with a swift kick in the morals.
I believe these are known as Mimmoths.
Exactly! They didn't have Wii giveaways back then.

Probably just needs a cup of hot cocoa and a blanket.
