  1. Re:"may head off backlash" on Obama's Climate Plans Face Long Fight · · Score: 1

Environmental pragmatism isn't a bad thing, and if you want to see people who favor that approach versus the straw-man of "taking us back to the 1700s", look to the plans proposed by, say, the union of concerned scientists.

Except it isn't a strawman by any stretch. Take a look at what the various heads of NGO environmental groups say, or their organizations and you quickly see that their policies and words are directly in line with that. Even here in Canada probably the most famous example would be David Suzuki. Quickly followed up by various anti-tree farming groups, and those against oil exploration/extraction.

Both might be true (although they were definitely white non-muslim people in there too) but as you know there is a difference between correlation and causation.

Well it's probably closer to true, especially when there are 751 no-go zones in France where not even the police, fire, or paramedics will enter without serious backup because the muslim, arab, and north african immigrants have made the areas unsafe, and their own enclaves from within. And it's gotten bad enough that they're now working to reclaim the areas by doing whatever is necessary.

It's also true, that in places like Denmark, and Norway there are now similar zones, and in Germany as well. This has to do of course from the massive influx of immigrants from the middle east. Not to forget about the UK, they're currently suffering from a literal plague of "Asian grooming gangs" Asian of course being the PC-codeword for muslim or arab. While the police, child services, and courts have for quite a while turned a blind eye to the entire issue. People aren't getting upset, without cause.

Nah, they just send the DOJ, IRS, EPA, ATF and so on after political critics, and harass them until they give up their little "view point." Or did you skip over the recent and on-going issue with the Obama administration targeting tea party groups and throwing every letter agency they can at them.

Updated infrequently doesn't matter when you read it in huge chunks.

Here's the thing, the premise of drawing a crowd in order to sell something of yourself only works when you have it. No one is going to stick it out if you keep turning around and saying "well, it'll be available next time." Or "watch my amazing assistant as he fills in for me..." on whatever reason. Same reason why sinfest has recently started losing readership, people don't like the misandry that's been going on with the strip for the last few months.
