So do you not believe that this is the cause of colony collapse or do you not think that a huge decline in pollinators is a problem?

My cousin is a beekeeper here in Ontario, and she doesn't believe it's the case. Her hives were hit a few years ago with repeated collapses, and it nearly wiped her out. Her idea is and it seems to have worked in her case is that the domesticated bee is well far too domesticated. It's recessive breeding on recessive breeding because queen breeders selectively pick particular queens that show the same traits over and over again with no new injections DNA into the hives, making the hives weaker to parasites and environmental factors. Anyone who's worked on a farm already knows the dangers of recessive breeding traits in livestock, we try to avoid that or branch particular breeds and try to keep the genetic diversity up. It really doesn't happen in beekeeping, they breed the same 'type' of queen repeatedly and in large numbers, and it's becoming more common as colonies collapse to try and keep the number of active drones working.

So in her case, introducing new queens into collapsed hives from other regions, instead of the current "regional selection" that currently goes on, her hives rebounded in less then a year. Maybe in her case it was off-luck, but she hasn't had any problems since and now breeds her own queens.

You should probably pay more attention to S.Korean politics. They just finished having an election there after the previous president was impeached and was a batshit crazy feminist that believed she was the reincarnation of a god and actively operated drugging dens for teen girls and the head of one of their largest multinational companies was directly bribing the president for policy. And, illegally destroyed documents(server wipes) tying all of this together. But was too stupid to destroy handwritten notes. Her daughter is singing like a bird and so loudly that it's damn right hilarious to save herself from life imprisonment. The two other options between Moon were, soft-China and soft-Japan neither won. Moon on the other hand has had a reunification desire after a friend of his was assassinated by Park's father in the 1960's for pushing for reunification.

In the end it doesn't matter what China wants, or even Japan, or the US. It's S.Korea and N.Korea's choice, and it looks like finally it might just happen with help from all parties involved.

You don't make billions of dollars by sitting on your ass and playing safe either. I'm continually surprised at the number of people who have never seen hardline diplomacy or negotiation, and have only lived in the era's of weak presidents. No other president has done that even though the opportunity has presented itself. Hell the clusterfuck with them nuclearizing was because a weak president didn't bargain hard, and push harder when they had the opportunity to. And instead of going hard when they broke the deal, they let it go on.

He's put people into place who are ardent believers that the constitution isn't a "living breathing document" but foundational to the point that it's sacrosanct and all law should be build around, and not that the constitution should fit the law. He's doesn't care to play nice with the media, this isn't a fault. It's a bonus. Trust in media is declining worldwide and he isn't the cause of it, the media itself is.

For a fascist, proto-fascist, next hitler he's doing a pretty shit job. You have no pattern recognition in this, if you did you would have been screeching at Obama when he was using EO's to create policy by fiat, and leaving the US in the current cluster fuck with DACA among other massive abuses of executive power bypassing the house and the senate. Hell you would have been screeching when Obama was preforming extra-judicial killings of american citizens without trial. At least Bush Jr. attempted to give some semblance of legal rights how badly it was regardless.

God damn give your fucking head a shake. At this point, it seems like the anti-trumpers would have been happier with another war or three. And considering all the neocons who flipped from Bush Jr's side after the tea party groups drove them out, and to the democrats and progressive left? I'm not fucking surprised.

When they pulled the plug late last year, the 4 channels they used to watch in the US were wall-to-wall reality TV and the same here in Canada. 17. No business in their right mind gives a rat's ass about what bleeding heart SJWs whine about on Twitter. Social media is a toxic cesspool in general, and it's best to simply pretend it doesn't exist.

No? Why don't you go and explain why there's so many companies pandering to the bleeding heart SJWs on every issue. From automotive, to print media, to online media, to video games. And they all do it based on that whine off social media. Maybe you can also explain the current BS being pushed by media matters and using exclusively progressive sites to push brands to do things to "people they don't like." I agree though, it's better to pretend it doesn't exist. Because once they have blood in the water or smell weakness, it's never enough and they just keep going.

Need an example? Magic the gathering.

  18. That was your first mistake. I just hate conservative ideology. I want to be left alone.

Too bad. 5 years ago I was just like that until the regressives decided they wanted to start screwing with my hobbies.

Like gay marraige, birth control, where mosques can be built, what's allowable on TV or movies, violence in video games, recreational use of drugs, various levels of "obscenity" censorship laws, anti-porn stances - yeah the conservative element is SO TOTALLY open and FREE. You're retarded. You're a retarded motherfucker. We're done here.

Sorry retarded motherfucker? I must have missed all that since they were all progressive decisions here in Ontario. You know, Canada, in a province under a government that makes democrats seem like right-wingers.

...and the like and how this site doesn't act like an echo chamber.

Yeah it doesn't act like an echo chamber. Did you miss the literal decades of left-leaning and progressive stances that people held and pushed? I guess so. Maybe it's because people have begun to have enough of the bullshit, or maybe it's because the overton window has shifted so far left that people have had enough. Especially when those "progressive ideas" and support for things like freedom of speech were perfectly fine. But now you've got those same people arguing for censorship, banning content, and being offended on "your behalf." What's not to love in a free western democracy, besides the people trying to make it authoritarian.

Clearly that's some bullshit which wraps up back to what you were rambling off like a man at a cheap Vegas buffet: just a stream of nonsensical diarrhea. I'd offer my gun for you so you could end your misery,

Imagining someone being so stupid to say something like that, while apparently being supportive of the progressive agenda. It's almost like you're living in a bubble and are out-of-touch.

but I'm sure that wouldn't be well liked around this "intelligent and grown up place" that just randomly spasms out random phrases at progressives.

Got a tip for you. You're not going by be well liked in most of the west as people get more and more tired of the regressive garbage progressives are pushing, the further progressives attempt to control a persons life, the further they try and use law to censor and harm people. It's not like you could do the sensible thing and oh deal with the crazies, it's "someone elses fault" because they dared to bring them up and how they're moving society backwards.

  20. This appears to be yet more fake outrage.

uh-huh, 'fake outrage' well it is. But not for the reason you're trying to go with. See all those links? Those links to news media who were promoting that view, pushing that narrative? Man just look at all those sites, CTV, CBC, NBC, ABC, CBS, AP ... wow... and just think how easily all those progressives were feeling now that they had a target of outrage they could attack, and attack they did. Just look at all those other sites pushing the backlash against the simpsons. Vox, paste, gawker, kotaku, and so on. And that was after some of those same sites created the backlash in the first place.

Note how none of them are screaming, whining or screeching.

You're some of the shittiest people as your argument? As well as trying to frame social media vs news media by using progressive talking points? Okay. But if you really want to go down that path, you've got one guy who was screeching that the 'minorities and women who supported gamergate' were sockpupets, or easily duped idiots. And you've got another person who was warned by the RCMP he was viewing child porn in Canada, but fundamentally failed to understand how the US regards it under DOST. You've then got another one who's apply the "feminist lens through intersectionality" because she's so afraid of sexuality. And then the last person, who would have shit themselves if Leisure Suit Larry had dropped into their lap.

  21. You don't think that non-progressives (aka conservatives) care about sexism/racism/homophobia/etc.? I wouldn't label all conservatives as bigots.

In the context of old TV shows? No. Because most conservatives don't subscribe to the progressive beliefs of intersectionality and identity politics, which makes a point that irregardless of circumstance it's still racist/sexist/etc and thus bad and in many cases should be banned. It's a lovely hive of authoritarianism. If you need a non-TV show example of that intersectionality and identity politics, go look at the current shitshow with progressives yelling that Candace Owens and Kanye West are uncle toms who are being "radicalized by the far-right" which one of the current narratives.

  22. And then the "alternative" media

But here's the funny thing, I can look at one and chuckle over the crazy. At the other, I can see the media lining up to defend it and the politicians and media personalities lining up to preach and tell everyone "why removing this stuff is a good idea." The latter has happened repeatedly over the last 5 years.

  23. Yeah but just think what would happen, in less then a week progressives(aka regressives) would be screaming about how all those old shows are racist/sexist/homophobic/etc. There would be whining and more screeching. Then the people with connections to media would start pushing the narrative that these companies support said sexism/racism/homophobia/etc, and you'd see the progressive-fringe press start pumping out stories. It would be amplified by more progressive sites.

Then mainstream media would then start publishing stories about "how there's a huge public backlash" against these old shows. Then they'd simply start pulling shows that were "problematic" "toxic" or "gross" but that wouldn't be good enough, and they'd likely fold and shut the entire thing down and you'd be back to where we are now.
