So we Psion users might of been forgot by Psion, but not by everyone. Lets hope the Linux install is as easy to use, and well though out as EPOC (does anyone have one? or links to some screen shots of).
Well almost "The battery life is only estimated to be 3 ½ hours", bah my Psion lasts a lot longer. And I don't like the look of the keyboard... But yummy big screen, but will not fit as snug in my coat pocket (Psio Revo, very small). Eap, I see a hard desion ahead of me... Sharp C700 PDA Stick with my Psion, save up for a 17" TiBook. Eap.
Eah? I have a Win95 and Office 97 box, I have never had to pay to carry on reading my own data, as lo and behold it has stated the same (always edited in Office 97).
(note: I'd love to force every office suit into using an open format, but the logic giving above does not work out!)
What about the OEM copy of WinXP Home Edition that was traded for a PS2 with my buddy who's running RedHat on his Laptop Not legal (note: not legal, not "not moral/right/...") check the agrement.
Download J2ME Telnet (The N-Cage supports J2ME) http://mu-j.com/mutelnet/ Then telnet into a public NetHack server http://www.nicolaas.net/erebus/index.php?s cat=04se rvers
Actually this is included in the server, point a web browser at http://vnc-host-of-your-choice:5800
I also have a a really crappy version which created.png files and used a image map for the click locations, so you can VNC even when you had been firewalled to hell/using a java-less client (BT MultiPhones for example) as a verient of my wetnet app (see link below) but the code is crap, and I stopped needing it so I've never released it.
Ohh, you can also find X and MS Terminal Services clients as Java apps (I have not used MS TS as the client costs $$$$, and only used the X client once, never been on a machine without an X client, kind-of unholy).
I't no so the consept which is hated (I semi-keep on in the form of a.plan file, with a cgi finger app, well did the site is down atm;) but the term "blog", it's crap. Weblog, sure. Online Diary, why not. But Blog?!
And should be fairly easy to set up a home one, a sms 2 email gateway and your away.
But "blogs" wtf did web logs/online diarys become "blogs!?
Well as long as the/. Journal does not change its name, all is ok-ish with the world I guess, only newbies will call 'em blogs and everyone else can look at them as if they are shit.
A better solution would be to have all email digitally signed, then bounce any email not signed. Yes a spammer COULD get a signed email, but then this gives the spammed someone to target, like the REAL email of the spammer, the digital authorty & the spammers server. Any of which could then be blacklisted. (For a CA this would be a bad thing to happen if the ISP's do the blacklisting)
Alas getting everyone to sign email would be dam near imposable, and an insto cash cow for big corps:(
I too have suffered from this, thus I now filter on "slashdot" in the mail header.
This works reasable well.
No, but then battery life is MORE IMPORTANT than a colour screen.

Anyone know where I can regestar a .GB, as I think we (the brits) should give NI back :)
Which is pritty hard when your power has gone :)
Really, it's not that much more stuff in it than a iPod, so it should have an hour or so, which could be quite cool.

When you have been rapped then had the pictures spred on the internet come back and say that!

I've had this too, I think its emacs screen saver thingy. It is very cool.
Google is your friend
But, get out the dark ages man, Links is THE way to go!

Could do it in the same way as Linux, via pay-for distributions.

Ahh, so thats why slashdot trolls can post so fast, a quantum internet connection.
If only they did a 12" 1GHz model :(
Improved software protection and the table PC market? Someone is living in a dream world.

They get the bounce msg, and sent to a website to fill in some details, I read 'em then ammend the white list/give 'em my new email.
The address is only there for a few people who are having trouble getting use to the idea of change email address.
A white list.
OK, not great, but works.
On one overly spammed account, 23 people are on the white list, I get no spam.
