    If you are in insert mode, press esc to enter command mode.
    In command else just ZZ to save and exit, press :q! to exit without saving.

    Me, for devel it rocks, automate anything.
    I use it even more on my work desktop, life without echo -e "//+1,//-1d\nx\n" | ex Y.xml, find -exec, awk and grep would suck.

    Not always, it sucks on text-to-speech stuff, it makes you want to throw the bloody thing out a window an scream "STOP SAYING COLON!"

    As it supports both J2ME and it's own C++ based API's it can support anything you write for it, I'd be very supprised if both Go and Chess don't exisit for J2ME, and I know EPOC has Chess, which would not be hard to port over to Symbian 7.

    A signature tells the web browser you are who you say you are, you can either make one yourself(self-signing), or pay a CA (supposivly trusted) to make one for you.

    IF Sun Linux is based on Cobolt Linux, then it's based on an OLD verston of redhat.

    A friend picked on up 2 for free, a OLD server & a pizza box.
    The for-sale newsgroups a great, if you have a car and are willing to help someone get rid of there "junk".

    Don't (didn't) the space shuttles use Acorns and the like (8 bits).

    It's not the fact its based on "old tech" thats the problem, its the fact its based on the most unstable OS ever thats the problem.

    Technacly it's been going on for a long time, (not "trailers", but adverts!) There was a A1200 advert at the begining of Robojox, but no it'll get worse,DVD's will just be recorded of sky, adverts and all.

    Tickers on TV suck. MS??, RI:SE & some others do this, it's a real pain. Think crappy flashing gifs, then multiply the irratation factor.
