Besides the non politically correct bit at the end, this is basically right. FL Studio is easy to learn and easy to pirate which has quite a bit to do with why its popular in hip hop.
Been making music using electronics & computers for a long time. Had not heard of this software. Clicked the link, took a look at the screenshots. First thing I said to myself was "this is so obviously a Linux thing" meaning I figure I'd spend more time fighting/futzing with the software than making music.
Running small labels since before Napster has taught me that the freetards of the entitlement generation are no Robin Hoods, they take from the rich as well as the not rich.Every study seems to represent either the big industry or freetards POV and none of them seem to have any sort of rational methodology or business impact calculations.
Figured I'd say something like this myself. Actually you dont need to be up there with Rabbi Adin Steinsalz, pretty much any yeshiva student or average Jew doing daf yomi (page a day Talmud study) is already engaged on a pretty high level of analytic study.

I could understand the mass media using the word "hackers" here but/. should know better. These guys are just bank robbers and we dont differentiate between bank robbers who use handguns vs those with knives vs those who claim to have a bomb strapped to them.

Pawn shops in many countries are regulated businesses, they are supposed to engage in good faith efforts not to trade in stolen or counterfeit goods. Same goes for many places which specialize in the buying and selling of many types of used goods. Is that "censorship"?
That site was at one time interesting for a unique portrayal of texts shared by several faiths. At some point the creator decided to pander to the anti-theist crowd, or maybe he was just like that all along and held it in check. After that I stopped bothering with the site.
