I cancelled my emusic subscription a few weeks ago because of their completely crappy support for Linux. The download manager for Linux is a complete joke.
When I queried customer service about possible improvements to it, they offered to release me from my contract. No acknowlegement of the problems, apologies, or any hint that they are going to fix anything. Asshats.
It's such a shame because I really like their range of music and the price was pretty good.
A security expert who cannot be bothered to turn a knob on his door... eh, what?
It's a bit more complicated than that when you think about it. If the risk of burglary is slight then at what stage do you:
turn back from the start of a long trip to lock your door (or check that it is locked if you're not sure)
get out of bed on a cold night to lock the back door
Why not call a neighbour when you reach your destination or rely on the dog sleeping in your laundry to scare away any intruders?
Anyway to make another reference to Michael Moore, he makes the observation that people have a tendancy to get the probability of crime wrong, especially if it is overreported in the media.
The fact that the TXT referred to a similar netblock suggested that perhaps it was a typo (why didn't they block all of datapipe?) but nooo, no-one would entertain that possibility at all. The thread is derailed into a smug argument about how superior SPEWS is and how stupid you are for choosing your particular ISP. Real helpful.
Good riddance. Osirusoft and SPEWS are a bunch of useless fucks anyway. Have you read any of the posts to nanae? I'd give an example but you can choose pretty much any post on the list to prove my point. Jesus talk about treating it all like a big game.
God forbid if you get on the list by mistake (yes it does happen) and get treated like a spammer. Yes, collateral damage is the name of the game here. Too bad if you are caught in the crossfire and are trying to run a business, school or an open source or community mailing list.
I have never conversed with a bigger bunch of arrogant fuckwit wankers in my life.
At the Kwik-E-Mart, Bart plays backseat driver as Laura plays ``Death Row''.
Upon reaching the Conservative Judge, the Insanity Plea fails to work, so
Bart suggests a Change of Venue. Unfortunately, it changed to the Texas
electric chair. ``If I'd hit the Remorse button one more time I would'a
made it.''
Think about it, if you license something under GPL, you can't say who can or can't use it, just what baggage they have to handle in order to resell or distribute it (provide source if they modify it and resell it).

Is this even supposed to work? Try rebuilding from the Samba src rpm instead of the tar file. i.e rpmbuild --rebuild samba-3.0.0-1.src.rpm
Congratulations on the first correct use of "your" vs "you're" in a troll.

When did you last post to samba-technical about it?
Try again - you might have some better luck. Bring your log file at debug level 10 with you.
