I played diablo for YEARS. It had far far far far less clicking than WoW. In diablo you could hold buttons down and have the skill repeat. WoW, blizzard is intent on causing global scale RSI.
The people affected deserve it.
EVERY application on facebook wants ALL of your personal information before they will let you participate. Did people really think they needed all of that information before the cow clicky program could work? If they did then they are stupid and deserve their fate. You even get a nice warning before running the apps "you must agree to let this app rape all of your personal information to play cow clicker 5.0". Only an idiot would be surprised when that data is monetized. The collection of that data was probably the entire purpose of the "app".
Most media these days is for hipsters by hipsters. Its all about saving the children, saving the environment, and buying overpriced apple products made in sweatshops by people paid so little they choose to commit suicide so their family can get the little bit of death benefit cash.
Wired is REALLY bad, I've switched almost exclusively to/. because of it.
Taunt us to death while their super computer can run Crysis at 120fps and ours can only run it at 100fps?
Perhaps use the thing to spell check their products, manuals, and online stores... finally allowing them to extinguish the last of our economy?
What do we need a super computer for? Just offer up a tax credit for participating in distributed computing;)
Anyhow, who cares if China has the fastest super computer. What are they going to do with it that is so threatening?
Someone introduce the kid to Nichia 445nm diodes from the casio projectors. Easily capable of 1500mw and about $35 each. Or even better, some cheap IR diodes.
Anyone else find it ironic that a car made of weed tops out at 55mph?
I dunno about where yall live, but here the slow driving stoners piss me off. 55mph sound like it would suit them fine.

Don't get me wrong, it has its place. A lot of people need it. Its their coping mechanism for life. They just need to realize its not science. The school curriculum down here is bad enough as is with all of the teach to the test BS. The state has bad test scores when compared to other states so instead of improving things they are just forcing teachers to teach exactly what is on the test at the expense of the children's education.
This state does have some good aspects though. It's one of the most free states. A lot less violations of our rights. That and all of the green is what keeps me here (plant life, NOT cash, very poor state).
I also live in Louisiana and this comes as no surprise. This is a VERY religious state. Every 100 yards you see a church, no lie! Louisiana is all about big churches, big trucks / SUVs, low IQs, and butchering the English language.
