    Given what people getting welfare and food stamps say where I can hear them, a lot of them do not actually need the money to live on. Not only are a lot of them getting most of their food for free, they think buying cigarettes and Four Loko is part of a sound strategy for becoming self-sufficient.

    Well, normally "You and what army?" doesn't mean much, but I'm fairly certain the UN can broker one to show up when you challenge them. Especially since a lot of the members will want more control of their intertubes.

    Because thousands of PS3s cost less than a normal supercomputer. This means they can get a lot more supercomputer for their buck.

    Also you can patent specific implementations and methodologies. It's entirely possible and likely that other email synchronization systems can be employed that don't run afoul of Microsoft's patents.

    In theory, yes. But in practice you can patent the "what" and not just the "how"

    In theory, the "what" is patented, but in court, it is the "vaguely looks like/competes with my product" that prompts the suit.
