    MY spelling is so shit I can use it as a signiture.
    Keep the spelling mistakes in, it should help remind you exactly what you were thinking about at the time you wrote whatever.

    A document without spelling mistakes is like a document with no life in it.

    If the 'chipset' specific code only takes up 10% of the driver and the rest is generic code then shiping a universal driver makes perfect sence.

    Taking the saying "preaching to the choir" in a literal sence to provide a general answer to why "preaching to the choir" isn't pointless.

    Technically a religion needs a 'GOD', and since there is no God in OSS it would be better to call it a philosophy or Doctrine.

    Umm... Windows was hard to configure 'last time i looked'
    Everything was through the UI with no option to save diffs that you could roll out.

    Direct UI's are for people who don't know what there doing, you should always use a delta and roll out plan.

    I wouldn't mind, I could probably fix or workaround the bug myself if I had an exploit. Evem if that ment turing of SSH for a while and using telnet, or blocking SSH to the outside world.
    (I have the source code to SSH so I could fix the bug myself)

    I like most of the bands you've listed,but what's wrong with finding your own music, maybe if enough people use alternitives current musicians might put some of there stuff up.

    e.g.
    For NIN goto the NIN web site,
    And Radiohead arn't too fussed with P2P

    Try streaming the Besonic charts, sounds commercial me(except for the lack of pop).

    If the person downloading the file has a 'hard copy' of the original then downloading another copy shouldn't be a problem.

    If they have a 'license' but the original copy is unusable(broken/stolen or whatever) then again downloading another copy should be ok.

    In the EU I can 'sell' my copy or license that's fine, but allowing somone else who has a license to make a copy of my copy... hmmm..... probably ok too.
