Err, genes are not properly expresed in binary. Each codon can be though of as a byte composed of 3 bits. Each bit can be composed of 4 possible digits, commonly represented as A, T, C, G.
So the true geek would think as a DNA computer in ATT CGG ATG CAT.:-P
Downs Syndrome the kids are very emotional and affectionate.
Autistic kids don't show or respond to emotion. (That is not quite correct but a decent quick and dirty laymans description). It is hard to love someone that apparently doesn't "give a shit".
Trolls deserve nothing. If you were so stupid as to use a common word for a password and couldn't even be bothered to do something like change it to "pass45word" then you deserve whatever happens.
I think you will enter into some macro applications of quantum uncertainty. The amount of heat buildup will throw the model out of balance. On a more pratical level, the amount of flooding might be an issue.:-P
I have a tru-power and it is nice. My desktop with four additional case fans is quieter than most notebooks. (It does help that I replaced my vid card fan with a heat pipe radiator.)
Thing with a lot of cheap power supplies is that they wil add lead to make them weigh more and give the illusion of being higher quality.
I don't know where you are at but in Florida the average salary is $40k, which is below the national average of $45K and the state with the highest average was California with $55k, which makes sense as California has one of the highest cost of living.
In Florida like many states, it is illegal for teachers to go on strike. Why are they considered such important emergency services if in you words, they are glorified babysitters? In college classes it is considered far to high to have 45 students in a single class for anything but general lecture series. Why is it ok for grades k-12?
And there most definately is a caste system based on wealth. Everyone knows who gets free or reduced lunch. Some schools do have crappy lunches, but some schools have fabulous lunches. When I was in Louisianna, the High School lunch was marvelous. We had things like Jambalya, Gumbo, roast chicken and rice, and other nutrious good tasting food. When I was Massachussettes, we had corn dogs and pizza.
You can accept artificial gravity and space stations the size of a moon, but the orientation of a badly damaged ship bothers you?
I figured it was pretty easy to explain. The engines are in the back so that is where the anti gravity field that was keeping the up is the last to go. So as the antigravity field goes, the artificial gravity goes, and the planet's normal gravity asserts itself.
But all that is besides the point. Star Wars is not science fiction. It is fantasy. In fact, Star Wars epitomizes a sub-genre of fantasy known as space opera. Instead of dragons, unicorns, and wizards; you have lasers, robots, and spaceships.
On older Sony notebooks the bios password reset was a Public/Private key with the notebooks's serial number as the public key.
I helped a friend with his old vaio that had been sitting idle for a while and he forgot the password. it was a pita to fax in a receipt then he had to pay $25 for some dude in India to transfer him to some guy in Florida to take his serial number and tell him a 7 digit code.
Circumstantial evidence is not evidence nor may it be used in a court of law. For those that don't get it, encryption software is cricumstatial evidence.
There are valid reasons to have AC, though it is truly not anonymous. Ever notice that even though you post AC, you can not go back and moderate your own post? Then there are the IP bans. But I don't think doing away with AC will reduce the Crap out there. Email accounts are a dime a dozen.
If your only plan is to stay with MS, that is inertia. You should have some sort of migration plan, just in case. What happens when MS decides they need more money and up your fees double or more?
Or even more likely- you get hit with a BSA audit. More and more disgruntled employees are sickin' the BSA on thier former employers. I have known several bosses who after experiencing an audit demand the immediate switchover to Linux or BSD or MacOSX. It is pretty damned annoying when your CAL is for only 25 yet you have 27 clients.
I take it you are not an American Zoomba. Boston Tea Party. Sometimes the only way to effectively protest is to deny someone else something, whether it is profit via copyright infringement, theft, or vandalism. You need to read the writing of Henry David Thoreau. Sometimes violating laws is the only moral action to do.
Copyright infringement is not theft. They are legally two different things. One is copying an abstract idea while the other involves taking physical property. Copyright infringement is a civil action in most jurisdictions and most circumstances. Theft is a criminal action.
There is some definate problems with how Copyright is being handled lately. This going to be an even bigger problem in the future. For one example of the problems we will be facing, check out Kim Stanley Robinson's "Elephant's Memory". To summarise the issue- there is a finite number of combinations that make up a particular art form. With the never ending copyright durations, there is a dwindling supply of new combinations to create new works of art. How do you create a new song when every five note chord you might come up with is already copyrighted?
By ignoring copyright now, we force things to be changed. Look how Napster has given rise to various legal and semilegal digital music distribution services. Do you really think there would have been an iTunes or iPods if there was no Napster?
Then why do corps give to charities? The corporate charter is given to advance the public good. A corp is meant to advance the interests of its stakeholders, not just its shareholders. A corp is not allowed to business that is not outlined in its charter.
A lot of this gets ignored, but its still on the law books.
The Original SCO was known as The Santa Cruz Operation. They created the first x86 Unix called Xenix. In 1995 they obtain some sort of licensing from Novell. In 1998, they announced Project Monterey with IBM. They are now know as Tarantella but most of the business was sold to Cadera.
The SCO Group started as Cadera Systems and was split off from Novell in 1994. They were a Linux Distributor and was involved in the devolopement of the Red Hat Package Manager. In 2001 they acquire most of SCO includig rights to use the name. In 2002, Ransom Love leaves as CEO and Daryl McBride is named the new CEO. Later the name is changed from Caldera to the SCO Group, SCO for short. 2003 The IBM lawsuit is launched. SCO produces ever more ridiculous PR pieces. Eventually the mainstream press catches on that SCO is full of it (and I don't mean Information Technology).

It is only a 6"-10" fan. It is bigger than a typical mid-tower desktop though.

General rull of thumb is add 50-100W for overhead and expansion capability.

Remove or drain the cmos battery and the bios password is reset. An NVRAM clear will often do it as well.
Draining the cmos battery will take about two weeks though.

IR Keyboards will work with lots of models. One guy has even written an entire book on a Sharp Zaurus.
You mean R2 is really Mitnick?
Correct. You have violated a contract.

No, 2000 and Xp are sufficiently similiar, but things changed alot between NT4 and 2K.
Until someonecomes in with a jello finger and uses the computer as if they were the person before them. Oops.

I was aware of that Microsoft was involved with Xenix, but the history I have read was a bit convuluted.
Hey now, I thought we wanted more girl gamers. If they want digital dick, I say we give it to 'em.
Err... well nvermind... carry on.
Na, it's Wlamart. They said give us a a cleaned version or we won't sell any at all.
