    Shouldn't change IT. Putting important company data on the web with access via a simple l/p violates any decent IT security policy, and most bad ones. But say it does happen, all it means is that everyone will need to become a network engineer, since even if they don't need local server administrators, they'll still need network folks to maintain the network that has to be on the ground locally.

    The question stands: If a cert or a degree doesn't matter for who you hire, how do you filter your resumes to know who to interview? That's where both work. They don't get you a job, they get you an interview.

    If I recall, when you use the Amazon app it just takes you to a website. In-app purchase it is not.

    Does Dell use glossy screens now? I have an older Dell with a traditional widescreen(16:10, WSXGA+) that is matte, and it's great. The only glossy screens I've seen are the newer HP model types you see at Best Buy and Costco, but can't go there to check Dells

    Yes, but IRC also dates to the 80s. Communication-wise, Usenet was essentially the predecessor to email(or at least an email group/list), not to realtime communication.
