    If you know anything about history it's the Republican party that freed the slaves and, "It emerged in 1854 to combat the Kansas–Nebraska Act, which threatened to extend slavery into the territories, and to promote more vigorous modernization of the economy." Democrats try to change history through repeated rhetoric saying what they want to be the truth and all the youth who get their news solely from Facebook or Twitter parrot their statements in a zombie-like monotone.

    Rather than post something intelligent you point your finger at "those rascally Republicans"? CFLs are gnarly and contain mercury...EPA directions for cleaning a CFL break should scare people, but they are a small part of the problem (soon to be worse as CFLs really start filling our landfills). Those Republicans aren't anti-science no matter how many times you Liberals claim as such.

    How about we admit men and women are different, with different interests, and desires? Who gives a crap if men and women do the same thing as long as nothing stopping them from trying? Eliminate discrimination from the selection process and I bet women still don't give a crap about Wikipedia or many other "male-dominated" fields...why must we force equal distribution of gender/race/etc in everything? Again, make sure the selection process is fair and let things be.

    Would it be easier to just use off the shelf items to build your data center and them spend money building an open source thing that sniffs all the packets looking for suspicious crap? I'm asking because I'm not sure it'd be easy to automate identification of "suspicious crap" in the outgoing data.

    That's a good point but why are these jobs going offshore? Is it because we can't do the jobs or is it because they can get the job done for less pay? Probably a combination of the two.

    Likewise, tech doesn't attract young black men and women because studying math, science, tech, and computers in school isn't cool. We need to make it cool so everyone gets an education worth a dam in our country. Until then, placing minorities in positions because they're a minority is doing a disservice to those who actually study and do well in school and it puts underqualified people in positions which weakens our tech fields. It all goes back to families then schools,

    I bet jobs growth has increased because the delta between minimum wage in those regions and unemployment is great enough to motivate folks to get jobs. This will stabilize in a short time and I think jobs growth will stall and stagnate.

    If this does hold up, and Microsoft releases the data stored in another country (which is ludicrous), then how long will it take for every other country in the world to buy equipment from a non-American or solely domestic company? This may backfire...like most of our administration's policies...

    Almost everyone and everything should pay at least a little into the system so they appreciate the day they withdraw (if ever) from it. No skin in the game means people/companies don't give a crap and will take all they can.

    I don't like Google, Apple, or any other company paying at least some taxes. Of course, the State/Federal government most likely gave them that tax break to pull them to their state but that needs to be minimized.

    It's not xeophobia, I have an aversion to people taking from our country and giving nothing back. Whether they be legal or illegal it doesn't matter but the fact the US Government is essentially doing nothing and protecting them makes me a little upset as we are so far in debt how can we pay for so many free loaders? The sarcasm tag wasn't meant to undo anything, it was simply there to make sure nobody thought I was being serious when I called the other poster a genius and finally, stating something is a "pro tip" usually means you're just someone else posting things using emotion to guide their actions rather than logic.

    Wow, so much hatred. The US Government has declared the requirement for voters to have ID cards is discriminatory. A lot of the illegal immigrants benefit from the ludicrous Democratic policies (e.g. no border protection, anchor babies, free medical, free school, etc.) so they tend to vote Democrat. You are obviously a mental giant due to the genius you wrote in your reply [/sarcasm] Democrats/Liberals can never hold a civil argument and almost always resort to name calling and poop-throwing.
