Get a full room air purifier. If your pc is getting all that crap building up inside it why would you want that in your lungs. Once the air itself is cleaned the pc won't be so apt to get contaminated.
Exactly. I stopped developing for windows a few years ago and only write for Linux (with source that will also compile for Mac and BSD). I just write freeware but will not keep buying development tools and working for Bill Gates for free. And I also do not want to go back and "fix" my program for each time the Windows dlls get updated and something doesn't display properly on the screen.
I also no longer help friends much with their Windows problems. I use Windows too infrequently to remember all the steps through the System and Control Panel by memory.
When the signal is poor what happens to the digital picture? With analog it just get worse. With digital does it drop, or get choppy like I've seen intermittently with sattelite?
If the price is not kept low then the people (like me) who have a TV for very intermittent viewing will not move with it OR, more significantly, will wait a while and BUY A NEW TV. Better to keep the TV's we have and use a cheap converter than dumpster a whole bunch of good stuff. Why pay 1/3 the price of a new TV on the stupid box?
But someone who wanted your password and would be willing to gouge out an eye or cut off a finger would also be willing to do that or torture for your password. Would you want your finger or eye lost for a biometric scan or lose some other body part(s) as torture in giving up the password?
TeamSpeak does work well for me (I guess I have the OSS extensions for ALSA). I have it running on a server and on two different Linux clients, laptop and desktop. I find it works very well. BTW, running under Slackware on all occassions.

The biggest problem with intellimouse explorer is that the middle button only works if you turn the wheel a bit when you press it down. Very poor design that.
It is also a bit tricky to work the side button closest to the front of the mouse unless you have long thumbs.
I used to use FreeBSD and loved it. I had to switch when I purchased a new laptop and couldn't get the pccard services to work. I tried many linux distos but never felt at home until Slackware. It was recommended to me from someone that appreciated Slackware's similarity in layout to FreeBSD.
Having just had the tests myself, I was told that some people can test positive for the skin test just from the kind of immunizations they had as a kid.
I was helping a fellow (via phone) repair his Windows installation that had a couple of viruses (at least), blaster and another worm. He even has the auto download of updates running so he thought he would be safe.
Problem: he is a dial up user and is never connected long enough at home to keep his system current.
So Windows will have to hi-jack the internet connection in order to get the downloads or half-knowlegdable users like this guy will still be victims.
Or you could put things in your hosts file that you want to block access to. Much simpler, but I'm not sure you things would go with that whole black list there;)
Get something with a good hepa filter in it.

Obviously the humor is too subtle for the moderator who said this was flamebait.
From the release notes:
GNOME 2.12 is the latest version of the popular, multi-platform free GNOME desktop environment, providing all the tools a computer user needs

GOOSe ME is better than DUCK YU
Since you've seen it...

Just wondering...

Actually, they asked for a king because CIVIL WAR had broken out and they were killing each other.
I am not asking for a Linux king but I maybe you should review the last few chapters of the book.

What you don't get is that Rocko will be banging on your door :)
Better keep your octopi locked up or this guy will get them!
I think he was saying, "Don't bugger up your leg to begin with." :)
The send out a lot of data and don't waste any bytes. That is why they compress the names. Similarly, look at the google page: no spaces.
Yeah, our BO tax stinks!

Looks like the moderator forgot to take his humor pill this morning :)
... and I'll show you a safe Windows computer

David T. Hardy and Jason Clarke have. The book just came out called, "Michael Moore Is A Big Fat Stupid White Man"
