Yep destruction is easy enough. But why exactly would terrorists look at books and stuff when they can buy there weapons from US, UK, France, Germany, China, Russia, Kazakstan, etc.?
It reminds me of some german Pastor who said something like
"First they came for the Jews and I did not speak out because I was not a Jew. Then they came for the Communists and I did not speak out because I was not a Communist. Then they came for the trade unionists and I did not speak out because I was not a trade unionist. Then they came for me and there was no one left to speak out for me."
Open your eyes. Look around. Watch the news. Jailing a 15 year old guy because his father is a member of Al-Qaeda is not what I would call fair.
Don't forget that MS has also been planning such a move for a very long time now. Maybe some Linux distributions (RedHat, Mandrake, SuSE) are considering doing the same to, only time will tell.
So those who have a family to raise will stay jobless because of some morons who are willing to work for free.
Employers will look at the situation and say. Hey, what the heck? Many IT workers are willing to work for free, maybe we should decrease the salaries for IT people. Minimum wage would be good.
Just because everyone is suing them because they're jealous of there success doesn't mean that we have to stop buying there products. All this money going to lawyers is sure a waste though.
I'm sure that India already knew about the availability of Windows source code. But the fact is that Linux is free while Windows cost money, so there choice was obvious.
Everytime I got out in public, shouldn't people be charged money for my presence? I believe they should. If the music industry can do something like that, why can't I?
I don't think that Bush is trying to hide it at this time.
If Sony and Nintendo are much more attractive to third party publishers; then why do both have so few multiplayer games compared to the Xbox?
Xbox have the best plan for the consumer, 350K Xbox Live kits have been sold, that's more than the PS2 and GC kits.
Why should MS care? Don't you remember that they where sued by that same government?
he probably meant that you should pay if you're a corporate user. What's wrong with that?
If you follow Stallman closely, he's against war.

Creating stuff to help governments kill people isn't exactly a good hobby.
Anything you want to do, just go ahead and do it. Don't worry about the others, there will always be some people who hate you no matter what.

I doubt it to. Besides, Mozilla is more of a threat. It's not like Opera is getting so popular.
What are they gonna do? Put millions of p2p users in prison?
Don't forget that MS has also been planning such a move for a very long time now. Maybe some Linux distributions (RedHat, Mandrake, SuSE) are considering doing the same to, only time will tell.
Very mature response. Is it the games that made you so violent?
So, I guess I don't qualify as a hardcore gamer even though I spent thousands of dollars on gaming :)
Bah if I was an employer I would consider it.

The Canadians are gonna invade with there army of clones. Let's nuke'm

Fair enough, so I can force MS to bundle my text editor program with Windows.
So I guess, I can create a Java clone and force MS to distribute it for me. We live in a world of great opportunities nowadays
If they shut it, something else will come along. It's not as if Kazaa is the only p2p program.
They publish great games yet give no support, no patches, no nothing and let promising games die. It's despicable. I'm not buying any more EA games.
The fact that your friends hate there jobs doesn't surprise me at all.
Now if Lucasarts can finally start making good games, that'll help to.

It doesn't matter if they keep their radios off, they will still be charged $20 because obviously this is something that can't be enforced.
So every taxi driver, music listener or not will have to pay the $20.
