That's why I buy so much MS hardware. It fits perfectly with my hand. My hand is not big, just your average hand and there mouses and joysticks fits great.
One reason on why I bought an XBox is because of the controllers. They're nice.
I'd rather be using right now a somewhat insecure Windows XP instead of an extremely secure Windows 3.1.
Look at Israel, due to the environment they live in, they most probably have the best security yet they're unable to stop many of the terrorist attacks.
Which reminds me, I noticed a few days ago that some guy is using my email address to send viruses via Sendmail's SMTP. I don't think he's even using a password. I notified my hosting company. But according to you, I should be suing Sendmail?
If I shoot a person and she dies. Should people sue God because of his buggy code? If the terrorists hit a plane in a building and the building collapses, should I sue the architects? If some cracker, uses a Trojan on my OS, should I blame my OS?
Funny guy, I take my figures from chartrack.co.uk. Over 500 000 XBox unites have been sold in Europe and only about 190 000 in Japan.
Worldwide total sales for the XBox = 3.1 million Worldwide total sales for the Gamecube = 3 million
Failing, discontinue it? The gamecube have even fewer sales and I don't see them stopping production anytime soon.
XBox 2 is already in the works. Get over it, this console is here to stay. In my opinion, the Xbox is the best console followed closely by the gamecube.
Go ahead and buy a Gamecube if you want, but I would strongly suggest that you consider an XBox. I'm not too impressed with the Gamecube's graphics but I might get one nevertheless, because of the price drop and because it's got some good games.
Well if you decide to buy an XBox, I highly suggest that you buy Hunter: The Reckoning. It's extremely addicting. This game is so much fun especially if you're playing with friends.
yeah sure. You Europeans should be amashed of yourselves. Only 400 000 Gamecubes and 500 000 XBox sold. What the hell? Japan by itself is outbuying the whole European market.
You know what? I don't want anyone to win the console war. I'm happy the way it is, with the price drops, the competition and the innovations. I have an XBox, yet I'm waiting for Gamecube to drop its price so I can buy one to. It's great to have so much choices.
Yes, as I said it's a fixed monthly fee to play all online games available on the XBox. With the PS2 its another story, you have to buy an adapter and you have to pay a monthly fee per game.
With all the great reviews, I headed to the store and buyed the PC version. What is wrong with the reviewers nowadays? I usually like racing games but this game is really annoying, it's just like that Wreckless game.
If you like Wreckless you'll probably love this game because the gameplay is a little better but if you hated Wreckless like I did well then GTA3 is a huge disappointment.
1- XBox Live online with the communicator will cost $50 for the first year and $10/month afterward, for all the online games.
2- PS2's strategy is to allow publishers like EA to create there own online network and charge a monthly fee per game. Has anyone tried EA's online service yet? We all know how awfull it is.
Here's a video preview of what XBox Live is all about.
Who needs MS SQL Server? Are you telling me that thousands of companies with a load of data are installing SQL Server without having a database admin to do the work? Sweet, they deserve what they get. What kind of people install SQL Server without putting a password for the SA account? Apparently, plenty:)
Online service is coming along nicely for the XBox. I'll be happy to pay $10/month to access all XBox games online instead of having to pay $5/month per game on a PS2's.
Also how about the XBox communicator? I'll be able to voice chat with my friends while gaming. It's just like Roger Wilco on PC. No console has ever done that.
Don't forget that over 200 games are in development for the XBox.
Anyway, they can say whatever they want. I'm more than extremely happy with my console.
Don't kid yourself. This actually proves that a bigger part of the population is stupid or misinformed or just plain evil and doesn't share our views at all.
Not to mention NHL 2002, using there online matchup services is a nightmare.
EA's strategy looks more like software licenses. You'll have to pay a monthly fee for each game you play online. XBox's plan is to have you pay a fixed monthly fee of $10 for whatever amount of games you have.
The real story is that MS wants to charge a fixed fee to customers, $10/month for access to all the online games. EA on the other hand wants to charge a monthly fee per game and they also want to have the users use there own online services. So no thanks, I've been boycotting EA since March. I bought the NHL 2002 last october, and guess what? There online service hardly ever works. It's slow, it crashes and when you do get in, you won't find many people to play with because they have already given up on it. I've been able to play like 4 matches online since october. You get the idea.
And there support, oh boy don't get me started on that one.

Obviously you've never tried Hunter: The Reckoning. Habe you? I can't stop playing it, its crazy fun

XP is the king of all desktops
Linux is the king of all servers
I use XP to browse the web, play games, do my accounting, word processing, coding, etc.
I use Linux as a web, email, ftp, mysql and ssh server.
"and bought"
Remember, not all of us are from the US. I had three languages to learn before english. So take it easy.
Can we play it in multiplayer mode?
War on drugs failed, now let's do war on terrorism, oh we can't get hold of Osama, let's go after Saddam.

Long live human stupidity.
I like managers who tell me what to do but I don't like managers who tell me how to do it.
yes but we all know that the XBox isn't gonna be cancelled. XBox 2 is already in the works.

Just ask Quicken to produce an Open Source version of there products or a Linux compatible version. Yes, it is that easy, all you have to do is ask.

If this law passes, could I migrate to Europe as a political refugee?

oh well, live and learn :)
btw, you should be praising Nintendo instead, they're much less evil than Sony and MS combined.
