It is comenly acepted that neanderthals where a branch in the family tree that produced Homo Sapiens. Thay apear to have been a more docile race then cro magnon and ether where driven to extiction by cro magnon or interbread, creating modern man and explaining why some people look like "cave men".
If you want to find out more you could look at Neanderthals and Modern Humans. It explains who neanderthals where and what posibly hapened to them.
New "Worm" Mining Rockets: Gerentied to be able to extract all usable minrals from 3000 cubic meters of average density rock. Using advanced tecnology based on Earth's own inch worms the rockets war head will, on impact, imediatly start burowng into the surface of the planet or planetiod of your choice.

It's more than under standable that a new game that is devoloped out of half live is going to be a first person multy player game. It is rather easy to modify the main look and feal of most first person games. For example back whene I was in high school I modified the original doom so that it could be used as a musiem in with people could look at the Glories of Rome. On the other hand to take a simple first person shooter and add complex AI's for strat combat including construction, while posible, not extreamly feasable. To bild a game like Warcaft 3, a rather large amount of people are gathered together, on top of that they get rather nice saleries, as far as I can tell Natural Selection has no inc. backing it so the people making it are probably not geting paid for their lovely work.

If you just paint the thing black you will have a nifty Batman like toy. It looks like a veicle that only a supper hero would drive, not that that's wrong or eny thing. I think that the design would make an amazing remot controled veicle.

Using already working hardware you could hack together any palm with IR, an IR phone(for neting), and add on a palm keyboard. Now you atach that to your Car batery/ Bike generator and you have a working human powered computer. Mind you its not runing linux but who cares it works. You could eaven use one of thows large screened palms with the built in key board.
Why won't any one start including that laser keyboard, we all saw a while back, in their hand helds? It seems rather obvious that a tiny key board is just not going to be an efective method of data entry not mater if you are stationary or on the go. Graf. or other hand writing recognition works well if your moving about and when siting in a class room or a board meating a proper keyboard is the most efective method of writing in a hand held. It would just be realy nice to not have to tote around my folding keyboard.
If they have a big tough guy on there web page geting tatooed (pogo home site: PDA section) then I know that from know on I'm going to be safe from represion by bikers. Windows: smallest memory would be the windows media player since most people have it preinstalled, yet as far as I know win amp is less taxing on you system. Hmmm lets see... I'l just test it out. wmplayer.exe the new Windows Media Player uses about 15% of the computing power to play "Venus As A Boy" by "Bjork" from her abum "Debut" (which I encoded using lame at 128kps), meanwhile winamp hovers around 6% using the same file. I just ran this mini test on a K6-2 400mhz.
Now that is a good idea then you would have the best of both worlds. The abilty to us multiple disk formats from your dreamcast and the lovely flat panel screen. I could actualy see a portable dream cast hack being done. I'm definatly going to get one to look into this option.
I looked into it and compared it with a Dreamcast

About one month ago I looked into buying my grandmother an internet device. I debated the Folowing a 486 win QNX runing on it(fast enough for web browsing a geting e-mail), an old pentium win linux on it(tried and true works with out any problems), an old pentium win win95 on it (would work ok as long as she didn't add any new programs but would be going against my beter jugment), a dreamcast (they cost 70$ hear in canada and they come with a key board), and one of theis babies.
I ended up being realy torn betwean the dreamcast and the I-paq. The dreamcast had the added bonus of being able to play games in 3d, plus to give it java compatabilty it would only cost 20$ us. I would then be able to us it a VNC terminal (thanks to vnc's jave aplet viewer). On the other hand the I-paq was a stand alone device and that would apeal to her since it's more like an other apliance (microwave, stove, blender, fax, tv).
Why would a person realy want to bother buying the Rio Reciever when you can put togeter an mp3 playing computer for less than a 100$. Meanwile this unit will at least set you back 127.95$ and that is if you buy it at buy.com as far as I can tell the unit should cost 300.00 dollars in most cases.
If a person is looking for a cheap stationary media player there really is no reason to go all out and get this thing. The way I see it you have two options one put together a high end 486or beter with a network card that way you can stream all the mp3's you want from your other computers be they mac's win boxes or 'nixers. Then conect the box to your hi-fi. For 40 dollars you can even throw in the option for a remote controller. The other option that I came up with is, if your on a buget and you want somthing that plays cds,mp3s and what the hell even mpg video go buy your self a Dreamcast they go for as litle as 70 bucks. With that you can do what ever you want even play doom.
What are you insane 486 are compleatly functional computers albet a litle on the slow side. The least you could have done with them is to donate them to some charity that would use them as w.p.s the best would have bean seting them up as prtable X terminals. On top of that a 486 has enough power to be used as a nes emulator. You guys are a bunch of smeg heads.

What about the os for every thing. I wana see some benchmarks compairing a 8600 vax (runing netbsd) to this mans linux box.
lose the cgi script and just use a meta refresh tag.

You are thinking of something else. The user wants to be able to have his files not be read by others not his program sorces. He cares about privacy.
