    yea yea blah blah blah never your fault, quick with the excuses and the old its not my problem, and no one wants to deal with you cause how dare you suggest someone get off their worthless ass for a couple hours and run a phone line

    listen chief, we all have mountains of paper work and pointless meetings to attend, why is it the IT crew gets to use that as an excuse to not do their job but yet it does not work with any other department? Its cause the IT guys are usually useless ass hats with excuses and attitude.

    a month ago they were saying they could not get the boards from china fab and that it didnt matter cause they had somehow rotted away and yes people are still waiting on pre orders

    I have somewhat kept track of these guys cause when it was new I was kind of excited, but there is nothing but a endless string of overly hopeful statements backed up by thin air and excuses of why everyone in the universe is screwing up production except the team in charge

    when you introduce a new and improved model every freaking year with little effort to back it up with software people start to loose interest, add on to the fact this thing is more or less what you already own but with a monstrous price tag and a half broken gimmick no one should really be surprised.

    attitudes like mine? sorry if MY JOB depends on my phone working and the "IT" guy is too busy avoiding it cause he doesn't want to string a wire through a pipe

    I only got my phone line cause I bitched to the CEO which in return the "IT" guy dumped a box of cable on my desk and told me to call him when it was done (with no working phone) it took less than an hour and then another 3 days for him to punch it in the wall right where the old line was.

    you can blame meetings and paperwork all you want and that MAY be true, in my experience its a shallow excuse for laziness apathy and ignorance (well we had a meeting to discuss how to solve your problem cause fuck if we know, we hired someone like you to install the phones in the first place, but we did decide we dont care that much and we will get to it sometime just muddle by)

    hm, I have a chunk of metal on my desk, and it doesn't cost me 3500 a year to maintain, I dont continue to pay for the software on it, only when I add new software, and no contracts

    shit even if I paid someone to repair it for me MAYBE 200 a year

    every company I have ever worked for has had some douche clown in that position

    one cause the guy knew how to install a hard disk
    one cause the guy installed the bosses surround sound
    and the last one cause he knew how to install windows, and the company just moved cross country

    so no, fuck the admins, they are worthless dolts that take 6 fucking weeks to run 1 god damned phone line and then they just twist two wires together covered with masking tape keeping me out of a real position

    yea look at kia, they have better gas mileage more airbags, more horse power, and can cost as little at 10 grand brand new, but for that price you not only give up power windows and locks but also power steering, AC and sometimes a radio

    This is what usually drives me screaming from KDE, I just want crap to work at a reasonable level out of the box, I am not 14, this is not 1995, and I have much better things to do than spend a bunch of effort removing "all this crap" or spend an hour digging through a forum, just to have a sane desktop experience.

    I dont even blame them for CP/M, its a mind fuck and not much else. in the day if you had a DRI you were a rare thing and worthy of getting a reasonable price, you have to keep in mind a simple game of jeopardy was 40-60 bucks, and here these clowns are selling a CP/M work alike for 99$ and its stamped by IBM
