    Okay, I know nothing of these people, but did they ever promise to always be free and cross-platform? Even in your own post you say YOU EXPECTED, thats great, but it sounds like you ASSUMED. Your also angry because YOU went out of your way to do something for them? and that YOU spend your money?

    Man, with supporters like you, who needs problems?

    Now, if you didnt go out by yourself and start doing charity work, maybe got an official title from the company, and was actually involved in the project instead of building an ivory tower that only existed in your head, you would not be so angry right now.

    well, rattle this around in your brain ... the plastic was part of a larger machine encased in metal, and this is a very small remnent of it, the atmosphere doesnt burn every single particle to vapor, thats how shit hits planets

    I remember being opposed to 28.8 modems cause the ANSI art from bbs's would scroll by too fast, it just wasnt the same without watching a menu draw on screen

    course now I use a machine routine to force my apple II to do 115,200 and thinking this seems a bit sluggish

    this will be the second strip down, I own one of the little Wii's, the one with no gamecube support, and its almost half the size of the original. Why nintendo would remodel the Wii again after the next console is released, and effectively support 3 platforms at the same time is a bit confusing.

    There is no shortage of Wii's and since the platform has grown stagnant its already a hard sale for overstocked stores, but its not my problem, good luck with that sega ... er nintendo (sorry I was thinking about when sega was supporting the master system, mega drive, 32x sega CD and Saturn at the same time, nintendo has a couple more consoles to toss in there)

    for me its never, I have almost always got a new chip well before a new board, a cheap chip upgrade can tide you over until you get the funds to cherry pick a video card, ram and a new board, sometimes for well over a year

    Given the choices of the new DE's I have to say I could see my self actually using these last few KDE's, they have come quite a way since the early 4x days. Course I use XFCE cause I am more interested in my computer actually computing than having floaty windows and bullshit widgets all alpha blended like a hollywood production, but IF my choices were limited to GNOME3, Unity or KDE... I honestly believe KDE is the less bloaty pile of pain in the ass.
