someone call the cry-baby patrol, I insulted some uber nerd
and yes I actually played it, for many hours due to the fact my beer swilling near ignorant cousin thought that THAT and the halo series were the best games ever, I watched as spawn points would flip trucks over like toast, and I cursed cause I couldn't make it 6 feet without a head shot. Glad your such an expert on a shit game you learned how to tiptoe around its faults only to hold it to the crowning achievement of games, I play games to have fun, not defend them like a religion.
it does in some situations, I currently have a few + many AVR boards that I have made up for different tasks, but in this situation I need to monitor AND interact with many PLC controllers, beefy cpu, linux + touchscreen is ideal and I already found it for 110 bucks at minibox.com
Thanks to everyone and their mother hyping this thing up as the biggest revolution in computers since the PC people like me who have actual real uses for the damn things are now forced to buy other similar picoITX embedded systems. While other offerings may not be as fast, have as much memory, or hit that price target, I can get them, get my task done, and move the fuck on.
fuck it tapped 100 a few times here in the states last week, besides why is this guy nice? Cause he wants to sell technology to any army that pays him enough, well just call him Jesus fucking Saint Humanity!
actually yes I played crysis 1, it was just every other shooter on the market at the time, and fuck you if you dared stick your head out of a bush for a half ms cause a sniper 6 miles away would headshot you every single time, wonky vheical physics, dumb as shit AI... aside from looking pretty and having a hype machine set into overdrive it really was a just below average shooter for the time
nevermind were talking about crysis 2 here and not the first game.
eh I wouldn't say these synthetics are as harmless as the real deal, back when I smoked pot I could pretty much smoke it all the time and aside from munchies and not wanting to do much, there was little side-effects.
This shit on the other hand, when I did try some out of curiosity, 1 puff too many and the muscles in my neck clinched up, I started having what felt like a massive panic attack, and according to my wife turned ghost white, and were not talking smoking a lot here. So there's some bad mojo going on in this stuff, and it may or may not effect different people in different ways, while the Reefer Madness-style exaggerations are out there, they might not be as exaggerated as it first seems.
Of course Law enforcement wouldn't have a synthetic problem if they just legalized pot in a responsible manner, much in the same manner as booze... but no, we couldn't ever have something reasonable that people wanted could we?
"check it out I got a i7 extreme fucking overclocked, 32 gigs of ram overclocked, quad ATI's also overclocked, 4 SSD's in RAID, and Windows XP cause DX9 is the shit yo"
cause no one plays crysis for the game, its a epeen ruler.
"Phase one of the competition is to build a set of artwork that's dual licensed under CC BY-SA 3.0 and GPLv3 and stylistically consistent."
ugh, I cant wait for phase 2 where they dictate what game we should write for them as well in the name of "liberation", oh wait, they have 16 bit style RPG, creative...
How many times do you look at your wifi SSID list? Its been at least over a year for me cause whenever I need to connect I tell the machine to go direct to mine, which is not broadcast, and automatically connect.
I think the average person is about the same, they want their shit connected, and wont ever look at it again until something messes up. So "SSID As the New Community Bulletin Board and Yard Sign" is an interesting thought, and may be happening in some few areas, but its a big leap since chances are no one will ever read them.
depends on what your future employee wants, if they want someone who will do anything, no matter how ridiculous the request, and never even bat an eye, this this monkey yes-man test is perfect.
The one I went though recently though is much more realistic, working though a temp agency with no promises for 4 months to prove I could do the job and that I was a good fit... not that I could fuck off on a computer playing video games.
yea I have been selling my wife on the concept for a little while now, her massive 250 gig hard drive is sucking up under 80 gigs, a 120 gig SSD would be a big boon for the stuff she does, but smaller numbers raise an eyebrow
heh any laptop with its air intake on the bottom is a money pit, back to side is the only way to go unless you want your laptop to suck desk, though I disagree with you on the 30GB or less unless your someone who just uses your machine as a dumb terminal to the network or "cloud". Not saying everyone needs multiple hundreds of gigs... BUT one wasnt want to be in the situation where having an OS, basic internet needs leaves you just enough room for 2 excel sheets and your wallpaper
yea I know, thats why I like XFCE, LXDE on the other hand has no trash on desktop, and has no drop down menu options for the clock and if "%A-%b%d %l:%M" is normal then I dont want to play in your world (that would set your clock to show something like "Friday-Sep02 4:06" in LXDE
thanks for playing, but you understood me wrong, again LXDE is a half finished pain in the ass version of XFCE, why would anyone want to use LXDE is beyond me, both are super light, one is retarded.
Using samsung products as intended is now "inventing their own products" by apple?
You didnt invent the hardware, you didnt invent the rounded rectangle, even your precious steve was quoted as stating "Rectangles with rounded corners are everywhere! Just look around this room!"
You didnt invent grey metal, nor glossy piano black, or the widescreen format, so I am sorry outside of software (which is based on open source) what did you do outside of marketing and packaging?
"Perhaps Tim is worried that Samsung is still the primary component supplier for mobile products"
Holy shit, something el steveo never got... what drives droves of apple customers away? They fact they cant offer compatiblity, sometimes within their own family of shit. People dont like paying a pile of money just to find out all the new shit next month wont work because of a rom issue, architecture change, or planned obsolescence based on an flake assholes whim and personal hissy fits.

yea cause it takes a fucking gaming rig to run python you dumb fuck

The longer PI takes, the less I care

its the worst thing you could ever attempt to learn

"(although I'm sure someone will reply and whine about aspect ratios and vertical pixels)"
yea like those asshats who write stuff for a living and those extra pixels is just enough to show a full page while editing full screen
pricks
not when they become the new standard
what was the graphical resolution of MDA?
thats right jack fucking shit, it couldn't do graphics
what about CGA?
320×200 color 640×200 mono
still lower than mac, and yet many many more games ..

You do live in a very remote country with vast distances between major points, shit doesn't just teleport there by magic.

get a arm system from minibox, 3.5 inch 400Mhz, 64 megs and plenty of serial ports to twiddle bits to an avr or whatever
I heard you like browsers, heres a browser that runs in a browser.
Pimp it!
