I outrun the police in my car, now I'm a violent offender, some idiot wrecks into me on the freeway, it's now my fault because I cannot carry insurance. Oh yeah, I shouldn't be driving.. haha. What about someone like myself who lived in a rural area 400 miles from any public transportation.

It's bullshit, a bunch of tickets and worthless debts from people who fucked me over that I will never ever every pay.. and If you fuck up, there are consequences.. Get a fucking clue, I could murder someone and have less consequences than all the shit I've dealt with since I've turned 18.

A few little "mistakes" and I run a good chance that my engineering degree will be worthless when I get it. What company is going to hire someone who cannot legally drive?? Or who owes $600,000+ thanks to fraud and other bullshit.

And on DUIs, I've never drank, but all it takes is a few corrupt police.. my driving "privileges" are suspended for twelve years at this point thanks to convictions, though I'll never pay the fucking insurance companies, so I stand a good chance of never being allowed to legally drive for the rest of my life.

Fuck you and all you "moral" types on your high horses, I'm so sick of the bullshit sappy attitudes I get from people like you. "maybe you should have thought about it before you did xxxxx!".. fuck off. I though about it in detail, and the punishment far outweighs the crimes.

First, it wasn't much of a company. When they fired lynn, I was the only person working at the shop. There was another location, and I had the feeling that they'd be closing the shop I was at. I knew that I was next when he fired her. The excuse that was used was rediculous, and what made it worse is that my boss demanded that I drop out of college to work full time for $7/hour. (a $2/hour pay cut) I said "no thanks, I'd rather be an engineer and make four times what you get out of these crappy shops."

The shop was already keeling over, I just made sure to really get it rolling down the hill. Now Bruce will think twice before playing months of bullshit with employees.

Naw.. he'll just interview better to make sure to get someone who's unskilled and spineless.

Some principle. When a photo lab I worked for fired my 21 year old female coworker because she was in the hospital, not only did I walk out, but I left a bunch damage in my wake. (She had a kidney shut down and had to go to the emergency room; this was not because of drugs or anything.)

I fucked them over good. Destroyed all of their invoicing data, sabotaged two film processors, wrecked the security system, and kept the shop keys. Showed them good that I don't put up with shit from bosses, landlords, or other random assholes. The shop closed within a week thanks to me.

Even with those I come across that are against such things, they still don't have the unanimous basic belief that it should all be taken away from the rest of us. Your average church-going mormon family has a computer with unfiltered internet access.

I'll go out on a limb and state that I think Hatch is not representing Utah residents on this one at all, especially someone who voted for him (I will admit it, I did vote for him). There's a good explaination as to why the laptop IR ports have much less range.. much higher frequency. (I.E. Higher frequency == lower range, and vice-versa). Don't some laptop IR ports push data through as high as 2 Mbits / sec? I know that most hardware looks like a normal serial port when the kernel detects it, meaning that it can at least do 56k... wouldn't remote controll designers design their hardware to operate at lower frequencies in order to get better range?

I never thought instructions to change the channel required 2+ Mbs.. either way, while it may be a cool idea for a fleeting moment, I don't see any good reasons for this sort of thing.
