If the first statement is true, I would say that's quite revolutionary.
Or, ever more scarry... Maybe he made this statement knowing every black hat is going to check the Messaging protocol. Two days later, a major exploit is released, and Allchin says to the judge "see what I mean, THIS is exactly why we must keep it all closed" It could be a bullshit ploy.
I've got a nice hack for ya. New Ford F-150's, Expeditions, ect. Unplug the main harness going to the digital display, and locate a gray wire, with a black stripe. (your VSS wire) Place a small strip of tape over the metal pin, and VOLIA no mo miles
To bad fox is only printing this article to bash Democrats. They don't care about the SSSCA nearly as bad as the fact that a key Democrat supports it. If it was the other way around, fox would be talking about something else.
It's more complicated than this however.
If my ISP thinks there is any legal substance to a complaint from another country, then they will simply
remove the content of my website. In fact, my ISP sucks so bad, they would probably do it anyway without any legal substance. This would save the said offended country legal expenses, and time if they knew that a simple compaint could remove offending information. That my friend, sucks ass.
The end result is that local arcades simply removed all the 'violent' arcade machines. It's just pointless to expect kids to bring their parents with them, to play a damn video game. I personally saw alot of arcade traffic shrink at the local malls.
This has *NOTHING* to do with "free speech" and everything to do with helping parents control the crap that American society tries to force on our Kids today.
Honestly, if you have to ask your government to help you raise your kids, then your probably a bad parent to begin with.
First we got fucked when they introduced this
into law, and now we are getting fucked again with the penalty.
It's nice to know why my property taxes are going up at least.
Fucking politics
I don't think Microsoft would need any help in placing Bugs in their software.
They are quite capable of doing this themselves, without the assistance of all those ANTI-INTERNET hackers in the Al Qaeda!!
Hacking cars?
Is this how people view automotive security & convenience?
First of all, taking your car to the dealership to have a remote start installed is pointless. They will simply call your local auto security&audio shop to have the unit installed, and tag an aditional $100 or more to your bill.
Installing a remote start in your vehicle is quite simple for anyone qualified to do the job (hint: don't do it yourself!).
When I say Qualified, I mean CERTIFIED and Insured.
Leaving your key in the car isn't a problem for two reasons.
First, the key goes into a box that is well hidden in the dash.
Second of all, every installer I know cuts off the end of the key, so that it cannot possibly used to start the car.
See? Simple.
yea, but slashdot posts releases, regardless.
For the complainer, you can always go to your preferences, and select Linux articles to be excluded from your frontpage.
I noticed that the article wasn't available to me, until I logged in anyway.
Maybe that's a slashdot tactic to rid some of the AC posts.
UPS insurance isn't worth SHIT!
Due to problems trying to file a claim with UPS about a year ago, I did as they requested and had a local Mail Boxes Ect. Package an Item worth about $500. As a coincidence, this item was going to Canada.
I paid the insurance, and expected the package to arive in the same condition I sent it, considering it was double boxed per UPS instructions.
It arived in many little pieces.
No problem, I've got Insurance right?
Not according to UPS!!
They blamed MBE, and MBE blamed UPS.
The receiver of the package shipped it back, and Paypal withdrew the $500 he sent me.
UPS wouldn't even refund the shipping cost, and I paid to have junk returned to me.
they wouldn't even refund the ammount I paid for insurance. (yes, I asked)
Fuck UPS.
I watched MBE package my item, and it couldn't have been done better.
I remember watching a television program a few years ago suggesting a safer tank for Airliners, that prevent the fuel from burning on impact.
I don't remember the specifics, but I believe that there was either an exterior tank that had a foam substance inside the inner wall, or some kind of a fuel additive to prevent combustion on exposure. I think I remember the airliners rejecting the proposal due to it being too expensive or something. Here's a CNN article on the same lines.
I don't know if this idea would have any effect on an airliner filled with fuel from combusting on impact.
Ya,
we consumers have all the time in the world to fight cooperations every time we get lied to, or screwed by a company.
bullshit.
call a laywer and tell him about your game that doesn't run. If he doesn't laugh, he may tell you how much his retainer will cost.
Perhaps you missed the point.
Bush was sworn into office before we had an accurate count. Neither the numbers nor the winner was clear. Besides, these 'recounts' were conducted by news papers. Maybe You have too much faith in the Media, when the result pleases you.
They should insert their own ads in place of commercials. After the networks attack them, they can stand behind some 'consumer rights' statement, and say that this is a war between consumers and the networks. They can just claim that users want this like EZula does.
They could make tons of money, uh, I mean really give consumers added features and benefits.
ya.
Blocking them is great and all, but you forfeit your right to complain.
I enjoy doing this as much as the next guy:
more syslog | grep reject
And anytime I go to complain about all the rejected 'attempted' spam I receive, I'm told that must have the full headers, and spam message to properly complain.
I mean, come on. If I have a log showing hundreds of rejected entries from the same offender, that should be proof enough.
ISP's should check their own damn logs.
anyone care to enlighten me on how I can get a full copy of rejected spam without my users getting bombarded???

If you look carefully at the picture, you'll see the new speakers mounted upside down near to top of the cabinet.
You sir, are a troll.
If so, nobody ever called me after I returned the Leased vehicle. Don't think I wasn't worried about it either!

Only recently did the software give you the option NOT to install the spyware programs.
