I can't run real cad apps on android and ipad either. There are shitty autocad drawing readers, but it isn't like I can run a full parametric program like solidworks on it. Can't really do any work at all, for that matter. The devices are built around consuming content: watching, reading, looking, listengin, buying. Not creating or working at all. That is why the first computing device that I buy instead of build on my own is going to be a windows 8 surface tablet. It is the right fit for me.
I dunno man. I don't want to have to look down at a second screen while I am supposed to be looking at the television. I see no way how that control system adds to control and simplifies it, all it really does is add more novelty.
I think they should work on getting the partisan people out of the editing circle. Just my opinion. For example, trying to edit in *real* facts on gender studies is hard with female-supremacists masquerading as feminists, deleting valuable links to data and hiding research on misandry.
That's funny. People in HEMA, WMA, and MARE have known about vibrational nodes in longswords for 20 years. This is nothing new, and not even useful anymore. Way to be lat to the physics party.
I have heard from gifted individuals that there is absolutely nothing more annoying, invasive, patronizing and outright disrespectful to them than being tailored for in school and being driven to do things that other people think are important. Turns out most geniuses just want to get on with life, ironically like Will Hunting.
My computer asks me if I want to reboot while I am on it. A little Microsoft window pops up and it says 'your pc is scheduled to restart after applying windows updates' or some shit, then it asks me if I want to delay the action by 10 minutes, and hour, or four hours. I'm sorry that it doesn't work for you, and it bumps you when you are using it.
My Impression with Microsoft products was always that they worked well, it's just that the business end was never ethical enough for the users here. I don't understand how that made the products bad products, hardware or software. MS is professional, and they keep up for the most part with support and whatever.
Should I just switch to private trackers? Does not seeding the torrents help at all? I am just wondering, if spies look at who is seeding in order to tell what your ip is, all you have to do is stop seeding right? Also what about Tor, can I run torrents through tor?
Why don't we just build a armored chamber with radio waves or some other science shit that detonates the bombs, and just sends all the people through it one at a time? They got a bomb, we got a bomb shelter for them to die in. They don't got a bomb, they walk out the other end and get on the plane. No big deal.
It is justified. I know 23 people at work who are excited to get one. My three kids have all asked for one, the wife wants one and is hounding me about it. 4 guys at the bar were all excited to throw away their ipads for one, and the people who listened in were like "Oh shit a tablet that I can actually use to work on! Good job!"
Slashdot and the rest of the blogosphere seems to think that the whole fucking world thinks and acts like they do and it is seriously immature. I don't care if every single blogger in the world writes a shitty ad-hoc post about how much they don't like windows 8 and the surface tablet. The reality is that it is what the people want, not what some shitty tabloid journalist wants, not what some shitty anaylist wants, not what IT people want. No one gives a flying fuck about you worthless fucking people. All you do is complain all fucking day.
I wonder if it has anything to do with the politically correct phenomenon. Seems people are a lot less willing to tell others to 'shove-it' these days. I mean really, my opinion is that it is all simple. As soon as anyone wants something that creates less freedom just because they were offended or something, you tell them no. Said and done right?
"Considering the horrendous failure rate of NASA's early engines, (the kind that explode spectacularly), this managed failure situation is very promising." frigging spectacular you mean. Damn good work.
My buddy has charter, he pays for service that equals to 30mb/sec (advertised as 240 megabit, which sounds really intense to me with my DSL). Anyways, speedtest.net and other sites say he gets 36mb/sec sustained download and all that. But when actually browsing sites the connection is poor. He can't watch netflix or youtube in hd, and when he tried to download the customer preview ISO for windows 8 it was downloading at 20kb/sec. Torrents and other filesharing downloads are simlarly 20kb/sec.
My point is, fastest doesn't mean shit when the connection is fucking throttled. I was actually surprised in his case, and assumed he must have had some other shit running. But when I connected my laptop to his router while he ran a virus scan, I got the same shitty performance! Fuck throttling. I want internet to be treated like a utility. Surely it can't be that expensive to secure the bandwidth?
The electricity has to be conducted to the magnets right? How many shots at such high current ratings can the cabling and metal housing for the machine withstand? I remember seeing threads on homemade railguns, and the problem was that with the higher power ratings the damn muzzle and receiver housing was actually melting O_O
Any word on how they are insulating & cooling this thing?

It's not a windows 8 ban, its a policy for their app store. Stupid title.

Well lets just start killing the cops then.
I scaled that side shot in AutoCAD to make the man 72 inches tall, and came out with 253 feet for the length of the boat.

It got a lot better when I registered and unsubscribed from everything I didn't like. I haven't seen a meme in about a year now, ymmv

I agree. Games created by a professional software team are completely functional in a non-admin user environment.

I don't understand how that is legal.

Why don't we just find out who the authors are, doxx them, and then murder them? Done and done.
Every time I do this, all the accounts get banned. I am glad you are having better luck with it though

Says the label shill. If a band can't figure out how to burn a cd and make a phone call then they are fucking retarded.

That's neat. What does a new ducati cost? If it costs more than the likes of a ford fiesta then it's a no-go for practically everyone.
Well then let's make it a crime to ignore the flag. Done and done, fuck the sleazy fuckers.
