You guys are insane. You complain the OS is insecure, they fix it, OMG MONOPOLY. This happens every time Microsoft fixes something. Damned if they do, damned if they don't. I don't even understand the browser thing. You just install Firefox, how the fuck is that monopolized?
It's a bit interesting isn't it? Stone is rather heavy for the volume it takes up. I figured this out fast when I tried to build my own castle out of concrete blocks that I poured myself. They just sit there now...
If it helps, I have driven my 06' Ford Five Hundred to hell and back. Literally pushing the limits with that machine since the day I got it. It just doesn't quit, or break. It never gives up. After all the shit I've put it through, it is still a glorious machine of unrivaled fury. I have been through so much shit with that machine, I trust it with my life. My friends all bought Fords because of the experiences we have had in that car. They love their Fords too. You should probably try owning one and see what happens. Especially considering that my girlfriend's new civic breaks down every month. Always needs parts, always in the shop. The damn thing just dies on the road, cold turkey, no warning. Poor girl is just trying to listen to lady gaga, and drive 2 (two) miles from our home to where she works, and the car starts smoking. Parts fall out from underneath it, the whole thing shakes. There are random shorts in the wires that break components all the time. The mirrors fall off if you close the door too fast. The transmission gets stuck in one gear. The hazards flash on and off and the engine quits while driving, locking up the whole drivetrain like the car hit a wall. Biggest piece of shit ever created. Same thing with my grandfather's camry. Domestic vs foreign is a big marketing campaign to make domestic look like shit.
Any business interfering with traffic in any way is wrong. Lays saying that companies can't interfere are a good thing. What, are you fucking handicapped or something?
It's a lot different when it has been scientifically proved wrong. Your experience with children has made you prejudiced.
When you have a double blind test done with hundreds of kids, and sugar has zero effect on them no matter what race, age, disabilities, dietary intake, etc. then you can see that sugar does nothing to the human body unless you already have some horrible insulin related problem. Society has known about this since 1995, wake up.
I wouldn't do it. I fell for that trick when pentium D came out, then my coveted P5n32-sli did not support the core 2 generation of processors. Wait for the new wave to hit. Even if the motherboard supports the new chips, if the implementation is buggy they will have no incentive to support it, since sales for the new motherboard generation will be going strong.
The secure boot bios process is something that has been able to be used for a long time by motherboard manufacturers. The change Microsoft made is that their Operating System now supports that feature. Calm down, the usage and implementation is up to the hardware manufacturers.
Does it really? I am looking for a new amp, and I am on the fence. Mostly because I am having a hard time finding tube amps. Could you recommend I place where I can acquire one?
How much does AutoCAD cost anyways? Like $5k USD? I don't think people are going to be interested in that. I wish there was a cheaper way to get a hold of a legitimate license.
You are ignorant. pff "Egyptian schoolchildren were also plagued with useless geometry instruments in their new notebooks at the beginning of every school year." You really are handicapped aren't you?
The cnet editors randomly make up stuff to post as articles all the time. They even admit it here: "So far, neither Microsoft nor its licensees have said what the software company charges for its patents, but Mary Jo Foley of CNET sister site ZDNet believes that the $15-per-Android-handset fee" Read more: http://news.cnet.com/8301-13506_3-20077173-17/report-microsoft-wants-$15-per-android-handset/#ixzz1RLZoJk9b That is hilarious. That's right, their logic is "Another blogger said it so it must be true!" Hilarious and sad too, because they do it all the time. Most of their articles are written by bloggers who posit no link to an original journalism piece, cementing the fact that they just write whatever they feel like/are payed for and go on with their day trying to censor comments. Even the Reuters article they link to does not have a official sentence from Microsoft, only another non-official non-verifyable likely-fabricated sentence that allegedly says that Samsung might conceivably possibly pay $10 per device if the benefits worked out. Oh yeah, grade A professional bullshit from one of the nations leading online bullshit factories. Fox News Online 2.0! Get it now!
That is a very interesting observation. I had not thought about the styles of automobile manufacture being controlled by marketing. I tend to like the build quality more than anything else, and that makes or breaks a vehicles potential beauty from my perspective. I really like the Ford Five Hundred, for example. I find that the interior panels of the cabin, although dull in their shape, fit together with no gaps. the lines seem to fit together in a way that makes the cabin feel solid, without touching it to experience it's structure. It is perplexing, I find the design to be beautiful even though the styling is devoid of any flow between accents and without any romantic curves. The parts are well toleranced and well insulated, so I enjoy the interior more than a Chevy Cobalt, which has loose-fitting components that warp over time as well as rattle. I think that most people have issues analyzing interior cabin spaces.
For instance, Wards interior design awards gave a win to the Chevy Equinox in 2010 for the 'popular truck under $39k' category. http://www.autoblog.com/photos/review-2010-chevrolet-equinox/#2362381 When I look at the interior, I notice many mistakes. The dash electrical panel is accented by silver plastic/brushed nickel, however the other panels are trimmed in black plastic. This inconsistency extends to feature trim as well; features like the cup holders are trimmed in chrome, but the air vents and gauges are not. In fact, some air vents are trimmed in black plastic, and some are trimmed in brushed nickel/silver plastic. Although the flowing lines of the panels use black plastic as a border during the transition from the door panels to the dashboard, the flow stops at the dashboard console. It then uses silver plastic to border the lines as they transition to the shifter panel, which has a distinct break in flow and feature trim (accented in chrome, not silver plastic). To me, the whole thing is atrocious. But it won an award, so what do I know?
What does windows have to do with what I said? Stay focused. "Cheetah", "Puma", "Jaguar", "Panther", "Tiger", "Leopard", "Snow Leopard" & "Lion" are all the same operating system, and you have to pay for every friggin update. I am trying to say that even $30 is too expensive, when it is just an tiny update. It even looks the same as it used to. Service patches and updates are free from Microsoft, if you want to drag them into it. I never even mentioned them, and I'm pretty sure the jumps in Microsoft's OS's evolve in a wide berth, since the jump from 95 & 98 to 2000 involved going back to the NT architecture, which was changed dramatically for XP and Vista.
A web page that overlays existing services should cost zero, and lion is just a update to mac os 10. Not even a service patch, which historically cost the same as a whole new os from apple.
Why is this modded insightful? It is wrong
That you are a huge focking troll and no one cares about your livelihood.

Like the ice storm in Massachusetts in 2008? Fuck that.

Linux supports the feature, and no one tries to rip them a new one now, do they? :)

Not really. The ram limit on Windows 7 Pro is 192 GB. Even with 16 slots, you would need 12gb dimms, which don't exist (IDT). Even with 16x 4gb dimms you would only be using 64/192 of your licensed RAM limit. So no, 'the thing holding back desktops' is not Microsoft's license agreement for operating systems. Does it bother you that what we once called 'basic logic' is now called 'critical thinking', as if it is harder to perform or some such nonsense?
Just google "Apple". The right product will have a little glowing apple logo with a bite out of it. Trust me. They make the best stuff.

4G does not even technically exist yet...what the hell is wrong with these people?
