When, as you say, one new generation fighter can take on a full squadron, that means the military can redeploy the human resources to better cover and protect against small squad insurgency tactics.
How is that his fault? And I assure you, Yahoo will give you the refund. Just because they haven't responded to you in the first 24 hours of implementing this new thing doesn't mean they won't ever respond to you.
I think every newbie wants to bluff, but bluffing doesn't really work when the money isn't real and people will just ride out the bets to the bitter end.
My fascination is very recent. I do like the psychological nature of it, but I'd never wager real money. Maybe penny poker or something non threatening to my rent.
Capture sights and sounds cheaply (it retails for under $100) Yeah, it doesn't have a built in light or flash which sucks for night shots, but if you are using it to capture a tavel log, that won't matter. A CF card can give you a full 30 minutes of video. It also is very very kind to batteries. 2 AA seem to last forever.
Or just suck it up and transcribe your notes or get someone else to type them up for you. There has to be someone who needs $20 willing to do it for you.
At this point, a company would be struggling to lower the price to be the cheapest source of music downloads to attract the most users and to reap the benefit from volume.
Once again, we see how RIAA doesn't operate in terms of logic like any other business.
So not only do you call me stupid and call the moderators stupid you fail to catch that I asked for the 'side' of Africa not which coast, which implies if you were to bisect the continent down the center, some countries would fall on one side and other countries would fall on the other.
Since I am American, I am representative of a person who doesn't pay too much attention to the world beyond my neighborhood. I am certain it applies globally, but I can only speak for myself.
There was a small article in Fortean Times, two months ago I believe, that was essentially a 'build your own Atlantis' where all you had to do was find some submarine structures that vaguely fit Plato's description and call it Atlantis.
Heck, there is even an entire magazine Atlantis Rising which discusses the all so many possible places for Atlantis to be.
Fundamentally, though, to claim Atlantis is inside the boundary of the Mediterranian Sea seems slightly faulty, but then again ancient civilizations were sketchy on detail regarding the regions that seemed lifetimes away. It would be like asking an American which side of Africa Zimbabwe is on.
Or the wristbands are locked on the wrist and there is a wire similar to the security cord in the newer fannypacks running through it that prevents it from being cut.
I believe in most areas where these are used, they are tethered, otherwise you'd have squeamish novices ditching their rides and littering the seabed with expensive toys.
This has been reported on since February at which time, Father Gabriel Amorth, the Vatican's chief expert on exorcism said demonic forces cannot be ruled out. Now, of course, he has a vested interest in maintaining job security, so his opinion needs to be taken with a half-a-grain of salt.
I think I have to agree. I know I get way over 200 spam a day - mostly my own fault so I'm not complaining, but still, this guy is verifying over and over that he is actively interested and he is saying he isn't inundated with spam? That is balogna.
In that groundbreaking book, the consoles used could be broken down into smaller parts. The smallest was like a cellphone/pda. Up from that was a laptop like unit. The top level was an immense programming console.
This is just a step in that direction. I'll wait for the laptop that has a pda that has a pda cradle built in and that can connect to a base unit that is also a server.
These atrocities (okay, perhaps too strong of a word) are being conducted in your name. Every 12-year-old who gets stung by the RIAA is being stung by you, Eminem, Britney Spears, et.al.
Science and technology are no longer clean perfect solutions to our social problems. In fact, as technology and science progress, we realize we just keep getting stuck in the same shite over and over.
Anyone writing a far future epic novel that glorifies technology in the ways Asimov and Heinlein just wouldn't be taken seriously. We can sort of look at cyberpunk as the beginning of the end. For escapism, we now look to 'a different time and place' such as fantasy realms or superhero realms.
This is not permanent. Given time, a manned mission to Mars, a scientific breakthrough in cancer treatment, development of useful nanotechnology and suddenly Hard Core Sci-Fi will be the rage once again.
The friends and family of those who get sued won't be eager to support the companies that did it.
This is a great time for non-RIAA indy labels to make themselves known, spend a little cash and make it known that they are not part of this harassment.
Does the RIAA have the right to do this? Yes. Is it good business? No.
I only communicate with people I know so I don't have much need to 'check their info.' I only know a handful of people who primarily use AIM and oddly more and more are using Trillian so I end up with three or four options per person. That's getting a little silly.
Life would be easier if the IM services would just allow cross communication. I feel like if I own an AT&T phone I can't talk with someone who owns a Verizon phone. It doesn't make sense on the surface. I understand why IM services can't work that way - but being rational about my wants and desires is not a strong suit of mine.

Are we certain the only weapon they had were boxcutters?
I got my copy of this back up software off of Kazaa.

Lighten up -- Jerk.
Kristin Gore (Al Gore's daughter who worked on Futurama) and Rupurt Murdoch (Right Wing shill).
but I've been enjoying playing poker on Yahoo!

People will just go back to getting them free from the p2p flavor of the day. They won't go running back into the stores.

This is an easy obstacle to overcome.

You would have been more successful if you would have mentioned Thomas Kuhn's book The Structure of Scientific Revolutions .

The Safe House in Milwaukee has a pay phone that does this.

Quick, get yourself an ultra low frequency detector and set up a ghostbusting franchise.
Wouldn't it be easier to set up a private p2p network that only 'trusted' sources can trade files.
So essentially, you could access the p2p, but if no one trusts you, you won't see any files to download.
You are correct.

Trillian is the best tool for people like me that have friends on every possible IM service out there. I only wish they'd add a jabber component.
