    I'm assuming since mostly everyone is still in IE 8 they wanted them to be able to see it. You can download all the images in both SVG & PNG format, which I like!

    I never said they were...but the HTML APIs that allow the implementation of those things surely are part of the recommendation:

    I like the shield logo, it fits the whole Web 2.0 of bold and simplistic.

    Reminds me of cell shading and Zelda: The Wind Waker for some reason.

    Really? That's weird because I thought browsers were waring over who could get HTML 5 features out first, who had the most, and showing them off.

    But I might be totally crazy.

    I think it started happening a few years ago when the recession started. Lack of income and therefore spending = less funding for all these things.

    The same thing was achieved at our dorm by positioning a mirror so those walking by could see the TV. Of course the volume was turned up so anyone could hear it. For some reason when tried to be kewl with the same scheme they closed their doors =/. Must have been the gay porn...

    Most highschool students just run a site they want to go to that's blocked through Google Translate and oh my now I can access the blocked content! Find the people who are manufacturing the content instead of trying to block the content.

    Don't know how I would have made it through my Philosophy class' moronic debates without my laptop to play World of Warcraft. For the classes that were worthwhile how can you beat searching through your notes on a digital copy? Hand writing notes should have been so 1980s. Plus you save some trees along the way.
