I would find the person who did it and kill them with the Razr. I 3 my Nokia. It makes good phone calls, something I've found lacking in most Motorolas I've experienced lately.
Anyone remember the TV show Dinosaurs, and what they did to combat global warming caused by deforestation? Yeah, they blew up a bunch of volcanoes, thus causing the end of the show... and mass extinction of the title characters.
Now that we've settled that Sega made Sonic, there are plenty of Sega releases for the GameCube. Sega is a software-only outfit now. They make money licensing their games.
I have a CD with every NES/SNES game made on it. I don't play the games, but I do plan on getting a few of them on the Wii. By releasing them at regular intervals you maintain interest in the platform and drive sales. If every game were available at launch, everyone would go grab their 5 or whatever favorite games and forget about the service. If you see an announcement that ReallyCoolGame 4 is available next week, you are more likely to go grab it and possibly buy other stuff at the same time.
Incandescent light bulbs are more efficient as heaters than light sources. All the figures I can find quickly say 90% of energy that comes out of a tungsten light bulb is heat.
I have to agree, Tetris DS is a damn good game. Endless mode gets a bunch of play on my DS, and the touchscreen puzzles are good if you are just trying to kill a couple minutes.
I really dig the free WiFi play, but I can only use it sitting in one corner of my house to get on my neighbor's "default" network. One of these days I guess I will hang an old AP off of my router and lock it to my DS's MAC and nothing else, but I don't understand Nintendo's complete lack of WPA support.
Yes, the US has a much bigger space dick than the USSR. As soon as this was realized, the government and most of the population gave up. This new craft is supposed to be based upon the proven Apollo system, which is completely paid for. Why is it taking longer to develop a craft which is basically an improvement on what we had 40 years ago? Using modern design and manufacturing techniques, plus modern materials combined with the fact that the research is already done, is it unreasonable to expect a quicker turnaround?
They want to have people in it in orbit by 2014, 8+ years of development time. Didn't Apollo go from nothing to guy on the moon in about the same timeframe?
What does Windows have to do with The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act? For that matter, what does The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act have to do with expense reports?
I got that question, too. All I could think of at that point was Trainspotting and gave the same answer.
FWIW I did not get the jorb. Just as well, I like the one I'm at better.

Epyx rocked... I loved their stuff on the C64, and still play Impossible Mission from time to time. From the same era was Ozark Softscape. They only put out 6 or so games, but I played the hell out of MULE, Robot Rascals, and Seven Cities of Gold.
Sounds like they did. As I understand it, everything you do on the Sidekick is actually done on Danger's servers. So when this person went out and replaced their Sidekick and logged in, there were all these lovely photos and videos, plus the person's AOL login.
Maybe he is the YZ in WXYZ.

...to compile X on a Duron 800.

I have one at the front door, one at the back door, and two with spotlight reflectors in a motion detector on my garage. I live in Wisconsin.

You may have better luck getting paid to post on some gaming forums.
Its GREAT news for me, since I just hooked up my fucking EchoStar DVR last night.
Hmm... free naked and petrified Natalie Portman with a pre-order? Someone call up those guys at GameStop!
Nothing, really. A good chunk of slashdotters will find it interesting even if money changed hands.
You do understand that Backslash highlites user comments from a recent story, right?

Wow, that was inappropriate... that should be big PERSON words.

Google for AnyDVD.
IDE and SATA drives work just swell in Linux. They have for some time.
WWP was used as a break from FEAR at the last LAN party I attended. A real shame that Worms3D was so horrible.
