  1. Or not on Chrome Extension Helps Find Noisy Tabs · · Score: 1
    TFS:

maybe an option to only allow audio out of the visible tab.

I use pandora/grooveshark/whatever in a background tab to listen to music all the time; having only the current tab emit sound would defeat that. But the ability to mute tabs (or have them muted by default, and be able to unmute them?) sounds perfect to me. Or how about having a whitelist of sites allowed to emit sound (somebody quick, grab the name NoSound to be a sister extension to NoScript).

    Dear James Cameron,

Why, oh why, couldn't you just stick with 2D filming? (Worked fine for Titanic, right?) You have caused probably a decade of suffering. We can only hope that eventually the 3D fad will die out and only be used in projects where it is appropriate.

TFA says it performs an "iris scan". From Wikipedia:

iris recognition uses camera technology, with subtle infrared illumination reducing specular reflection from the convex cornea, to create images of the detail-rich, intricate structures of the iris.

Stealing implies a devastating condition: the victim no longer possesses that which was stolen. If people really "stole" Apple's inventions, that would mean that Apple suddenly would not be able to produce iPhones, iPads, or anything at all. Let's use the correct word for the actual condition: copy.
