Think of it like this if I own a property I have to charge you more than I'm paying in taxes, insurance, and any debt otherwise I'm loosing money which means the value of what you are renting is much less than homes you are looking to purchase. In order to get a real idea of what I'm talking about you need to find a house in the same neighborhood with close to the same value and see what it's renting for. You can't compare a $200k house to 1 out 10 apartments in a $1m apartment complex because they are worth half as much.
I live in the US where first time home buyers have all kinds of special programs to help them out like no down payment mortgage loans. Although you do have to have decent credit.
Every once in a while I tell my sons they need to stop paying someone and extra $300-$500 a month for the privileged of paying his mortgage and taxes and just buy a house.

No one is forcing me to watch things I don't want to but then again I wouldn't be surprised if my wife didn't know or care what imdb or tmdb is although I do use them. She also doesn't read/. but then again I don't use her favorite sites either.
Well I didn't go to school in the 21st century either but I do have a smart phone and I do see how the world has changed.
I'm on the fence, I still I haven't decided if I think cell phones and constant internet and social networking is going to kill society or make it better. I'm sure it will be worse before it's better though.
What they didn't mention in tfa that I took away from it is that men are more likely to rate a show than a women on imdb. These shows won awards and had a high viewer ship so apparently imdb is mostly used by men and it's reflected in the ratings. This isn't sabotage because these rating have nothing to do with the amount of viewers or how these shows are renewed or canceled.
Here is the short and skivvy if we are to believe the general numbers found by a Google search there are about 15 million reports of identity theft a year at a cost of over $50 billion in the US many of which are computer related crimes and a lot of social engineering. What do you purpose we do about it? Better security sure but if there is no way to locate or stop them they will just keep trying until they beat that too.
I'm glad you brought up the average life expectancy, it's hard to understand a world where someone we would consider barely an adult would be near the end of their life but when your life is half over at 15 years and you have the responsibilities of someone middle aged everything is different.
I drove a grand prix that had speed and I think maybe fuel and turn signal indicators which was just projected onto a tinted section at the bottom of the windshield from inside the dash.
Maybe but then again you can blow an awful lot of money letting a streaming service run 8-10 hours a day in the back ground while you are working and not necessarily listening intently.
I have a few foreign colleges with Bachelors Degrees but still have trouble with the basics of computer sciences {all at the same college} it's like they got a two year degree from a technical college and some from a other countries who really know their stuff. I came to the conclusion a long time ago that not all degrees are created equal.
I don't know about you but the number of ads I have seen for legitimate 3rd party support or anti-virus for that matter is very tiny compared to the crap ware masquerading as those services.
It will cost $100,000 if you have insurance in which case your cost will be $10,000 otherwise they will charge you $15,000 if you don't have insurance.
This is why there are boat loads of arkanoid and space invaders clones all over the internet someone learning for the first time or breaking in a new language.
The questions they asked indicated there are professional hustlers and some systems that can allow you to win which might be considered cheating although they don't require you to take any specific action to alter the odds. Their concern was that after sitting there all night and not winning or loosing I had noticed a flaw in the wheel and instead of reporting it or taking advantage I left the table and passed that information to my brother who then used it to his advantage.

I would have read right over it without a second thought because it's common in punk but that doesn't make it the norm or an accepted usage.
