I used to set up local LAN parties for Halo and the like but that took a lot of effort. Moving the TV's together and getting additional machines etc. Online multiplayer is just much more convenient and I dont have to deal with my boys woman bitchin' at him leaving the house she seems content to let him play as long as hes home lol. I play CODBO religiously with my 'clan' but we hardly take it seriously but its fun to watch people who do. I will admit though that when a ego gets bruised tempers flare and things are said but thats all part of the fun. What gaming needs is more individual experiences like Spec-Ops in MW2, Army of One and Gears of War 4 player coop is also appreciated by I really like the partner experience.

The fight between Johnny Cage and Baraka was top notch. The big issue with hollywood remaking game movies is that they have to make them for the masses not just the hardcore fans. A perfect example of that is Transformers, Michael Bay raped my childhood by not adopting all they could of G1 (Generation 1 for people living under a rock or too young to know wtf im talking about) He scored big points getting Peter Cullen (original Prime) but lost those points just as fast not using Frank Welker (original Megatron) I enjoyed the movies and in truth it had a lot of throwbacks to the old series but for some people the sanctity of the substance should not be tampered with and that is how I feel.

When I asked who created it they said the original creator was unknown and the net itself wasnt owned by anyone and that the original owner left open instruction on how to control it... with such anonymity and such power (it was further explained that the net grew exponentially at times as the backdoor used to create it spread) that it was fairly intangible, and destroying one bot in the net does nothing to hinder its ability to wreak havok. Not only that but because it can be controlled by anyone who knows the means it can be shifted from server to server which would further hinder peoples ability to disable it.. a botnet is a scary thing when you see it in that light.. Im sure people can counter and offer all kinds of more technical jargon, but for a novice this sufficed enough for me to stay away from these sort of things.
Weapons get smarter as people get dumber, I live on the east coast of Canada where right now I can walk to work in a T-shirt when a scant 6 years ago I was up to my waist in snow but there is nothing to worry about there.. It makes more sense for organizations to sink tens of millions of dollars hunting down college students and 4 year olds for downloading Dora episodes and GnR songs from back when they didnt suck, or researching the social structure and intimate interactions of mice.. or lining the pockets of bloated politicians whose goals and motives seldom reflect the will of joe public and suzy housewife....or in this case, creating more complex death machines that require less human interaction, and no moral divide... Well my issue is obviously with people who arent as balanced as you kudos btw on knowing when to call it quits. I play a EXCESSIVE amount of hours of COD, but that is one one of my days off and thats how i let off steam/rewind/relax etc. My relationship is healthy and my kids happy and thats what matters to me. A lot of people though apparently just cant see the insanity in giving up sex, a good woman, social interaction with friends outside the game over grinding and poring out over a game whose only value is virtual... but for those who are in that virtual world they will pay REAL world money for the intangible.. and that just blows my mind.
Patterns my friend.. much like people can get fired from their place of employment for the comments regarding the company on facebook. This supervisor noted a trend when my buddy was calling off the same days and subsequently this was when his guild was also set to raid. Both he and my supervisor are huge WoW nuts but the difference is the supe does his raids on his days off. My buddy chose to use the excuse he was sick like every other thursday all because his guild wouldnt reschedule their raids around his day off. He wasnt sick and he told me as much so when he got fired I called him a dumbass lol.
A lot of people approve of piracy because its a defence against price gouging, the cost of many things that are pirated are ridiculous. I always use the example that 10 years ago CD's used to cost me 29 bucks.. because of piracy and the effort of curbing internet file sharing the price of CD's has dropped dramatically to 7-12 bucks. Dont be so naive, its pretty hard to fight a war when your people are being choked by their own atmosphere. For all our intelligence we can't come up with a way to save ourselves from ourselves. 'I hate people' I dont hate Koreans, I dont hate muslims, jews, african americans.. it isnt about race, its the human race I have issue with.
They listen to the fans and if the fans find fault with their logic they call them on it. The boys have the moxy to admit they might be wrong and retest it under the new paramters the fans say should be added. I think its great that they want to revisit previously busted myths. Thats just my opinion I could be wrong.
I remember back in the day chilling on a mIRC server and there was room that was very ominous thousands of handles were there and me, being a novice, didnt really understand why none of them spoke. Then it was explained to me that they could be aimed at websites to overload them with jargon traffic to knock them offline. When I was educated about this the danger became evident. When I asked who created it they said the original creator was unknown and the net itself wasnt owned by anyone and that the original owner left open instruction on how to control it... with such anonymity and such power (it was further explained that the net grew exponentially at times as the backdoor used to create it spread) that it was fairly intangible, and destroying one bot in the net does nothing to hinder its ability to wreak havok. Not only that but because it can be controlled by anyone who knows the means it can be shifted from server to server which would further hinder peoples ability to disable it.. a botnet is a scary thing when you see it in that light.. Im sure people can counter and offer all kinds of more technical jargon, but for a novice this sufficed enough for me to stay away from these sort of things.
Weapons get smarter as people get dumber, I live on the east coast of Canada where right now I can walk to work in a T-shirt when a scant 6 years ago I was up to my waist in snow but there is nothing to worry about there.. It makes more sense for organizations to sink tens of millions of dollars hunting down college students and 4 year olds for downloading Dora episodes and GnR songs from back when they didnt suck, or researching the social structure and intimate interactions of mice.. or lining the pockets of bloated politicians whose goals and motives seldom reflect the will of joe public and suzy housewife....or in this case, creating more complex death machines that require less human interaction, and no moral divide... I really hate people.
With all the issues facing the world today this makes the news hahahahaha. I dont care about the caps lock button personally if im that hardup to shout my point ill use the shift key. Might burn a few extra calories but sometimes sacrifice must be made lol.
Well my issue is obviously with people who arent as balanced as you kudos btw on knowing when to call it quits. I play a EXCESSIVE amount of hours of COD, but that is one one of my days off and thats how i let off steam/rewind/relax etc. My relationship is healthy and my kids happy and thats what matters to me. A lot of people though apparently just cant see the insanity in giving up sex, a good woman, social interaction with friends outside the game over grinding and poring out over a game whose only value is virtual... but for those who are in that virtual world they will pay REAL world money for the intangible.. and that just blows my mind.
Patterns my friend.. much like people can get fired from their place of employment for the comments regarding the company on facebook. This supervisor noted a trend when my buddy was calling off the same days and subsequently this was when his guild was also set to raid. Both he and my supervisor are huge WoW nuts but the difference is the supe does his raids on his days off. My buddy chose to use the excuse he was sick like every other thursday all because his guild wouldnt reschedule their raids around his day off. He wasnt sick and he told me as much so when he got fired I called him a dumbass lol.
A lot of people approve of piracy because its a defence against price gouging, the cost of many things that are pirated are ridiculous. I always use the example that 10 years ago CD's used to cost me 29 bucks.. because of piracy and the effort of curbing internet file sharing the price of CD's has dropped dramatically to 7-12 bucks. I dunno im a odd bird.. I approve of the piracy of music (free no profit) but I dont when it comes to games and movies..
