Any operating system has security holes... unix/linux has less... and you take a security risk when you outsource or just hire newbies out of school.
You need to hire people who have been at it a while, pay them what they are worth.. and hire newbies for the sr. system engineers to mentor.

When comcast forced me to use a cable box (I was watching hd programming fine without it) I dropped my extended basic package with blast + and reduced to blast + and the old legacy package. I get most of my HD network programming over the air now. I really only have comcast now for internet access. when I get capped I will look for another provider.

have self discipline no one else would think you are a genius.

The human eyes consist of a thin membrane and a lot of water. It does not take much radiation to induce eye cancer.
I never put a cell phone near my head. I always use speaker phone mode.
Wow... this documentary is just plain stupid. We live in a tiny solar system way of in a "rural" burb... no where near the center. We are way out on the edge of the milkyway... not even near our own galaxy's center. As far as center of the Universe... I think the idiots don't know what the Universe is.

There are plenty of processes that don't require graphics. Data batch processes, 3D rendering batch processes, network diagnostics, the list goes on and on.
The only gui intensive application are end user desktop. There's much more to coding than just desktop applications.
The owner/operator of the car. That's who has to settle first. If it's defective hardware then the owner operator needs to file a claim against the manufacturer. The same goes for the software.
Now it could be possible to control an Avatar ? I really don't like the way this is going. We are losing our privacy. Now in a few generations even our thoughts won't be private ? I am all for learning how to build bionic limbs and controlling them... but mind an actual link from one brain to another individuals brain or cortex ?

What I like about driving a Wrangler it's one of the only vehicles out that does not feel like you are driving by wire.

I have got to say my favorite platform is still the IBM Power Platform scales extremely well. I've got 20 HMCs, 196 frames, and around 800 LPARS and VIO servers.

I would write my own with LDAP and some custom code that will manage ulimit and other tools to manage resources. It's a piece of cake.
