    How are these products paid for? Cant we create a set of "tagged" identities that when they try to get money using the card or check, they get identified by their bank to the authorities and their accounts frozen?

    Enforcement (feds or state) could just merrily issue purchases for the products and the banks would freeze the spammers accounts.

    Pre-installing linux on a machine give them a reason not to steal windows. Because the machine is already working and has applications that can do the job.

    It is the closed mentality practices which cause them to want to steal. Web sites that work ONLY with IE or documents that can ONLY be read with Office are causing them to install Windows illegally. This is the problem that needs to be fixed.

    As a series of apparently unrelated "security updates" causes their application to become
    increasingly unstable and unattractive. Until finally the users ,who just want to listen to their music, fold and give their souls to MS. Again.

    And the users will end up being mad at Apple for putting their songs in a format that their great winblows media system cannot support anymore.

    They should fix the CRAPPY radio stations in the US. I can spin the dial and not hear a single note most of the time. Its all sheepdip: 30seconds of low quality samples glued together or some pointless self promotion "oh how I love your station" break.

    And its all cowbells, explosions or other earsplitting audio assaults. Here is a hint:
    Have them play LOTS of music, a few NON INTRUSIVE ads that dont hurt my ears, and some more music.

    Let the DJ talk ONLY if there is a national emergency and we need to go to the shelters.
    And not through a stupid stupid reverb box like all of them do. ALL of them! ITs the same guy!

    The patent office cost the companies of this country an enormous amount of money that they had to spend on researching this problem. The patent office was responsible for maintaining the validity of the Patent information. The Patent Office should have to pay the companies that endured an unecessary loss to their business as a result of the poor work done by the Patent Office when it originally issued the Patent.

    If the Patent Office had to Pay For Their Mistakes, they might be less likely to make the same mistakes over and over again.

    Yeah, I kinda agree with that too. I was a little hard on SUN and my post was a little over the top.

    I use StarOffice and should be more gratefull to SUN for their contributions.

    It was a silly post, but that whole promise to imdemnify seems a little like they are trying to scare people. Perhaps that protection is necessary. I wish someone could explain it from a neutral position.

    I cannot fault SUN for thinking their version of UNIX is good work. They have spent a lot of time on it and it supports a lot of people.

    I will try to post less opinionated, more informatively in the future. Thanks for the critique.
