Whyachi/Son of Whyachi? The Master and the shit his creator made? No regret? Sure at lighter weights it was a lot harder to design for, but for middle and up? THere was alot of good designs there. Little Drummer boy was a GREAT example of what a little imagination and a little ass bot can do. It had a great weapon. A fast spinning drum. It worked beautifully too. It even defeated most wedge and flipper bots based on the ideals it was built on.

Rick berman's always taken Star Trek away from where the fans were used to. When Roddenberry died, it went a WHOLE different direction. It stopped becoming a show laced with political/social ideas, to a sci-fi drama. and did it work? Hell yes. The sets got better, the writting got better, and everything else just got ALOT better. It felt like a real show for my generation. Rather than my parents generation. He tried to do a TOS with Voyager, I think, but kind of faltered. it seemed successful, but I didn't care to keep watching after the 3rd episode or so.

DeepSpace 9 on the other hand... By the end, yes it was trying to compete with Babylon five, but it still felt like the star trek we knew and loved from Berman from TNG.

Personally, I can't wait to see what he has in store for us.

As far as the sex scene goes... This is the last voyage of the Enterprise E/D crew, and picard's had only minor success with the ladies, just let him have this one scene!(he was dumped for Q for god's sake...)
